Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland.
