NIKARI

Nikari, established in 1967, is a Finnish design studio and furniture manufacturer advocating a harmonious way of living through the use of warm, natural materials and serene Nordic aesthetics. The company’s foundation rests on the idea of bringing out the very best of wood in contemporary design.

The NIKARI exhibition presents the latest updates from 2025 alongside a selection of timeless classics. This serene collection brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, featuring Finnish manufacturers Secto Design for lighting and Woodnotes for textiles and rugs. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Nikari exhibition offers a calm and understated sense of space. With a focus on simplicity and authenticity, it brings the atmosphere of solitude and silence from Finland to visitors from around the world.

Birgitte Due Madsen is a Copenhagen-based artist and designer working across furniture, objects, and sculptural form. Her practice centres on materiality, light, and aesthetics, exploring how structure and surface inform both function and perception. Working with materials such as gypsum, resin, wood stone, and concrete, she develops pieces through a process that moves from abstraction to precise realization. The work spans custom commissions, serial designs, and unique pieces, often produced in close dialogue with manufacturers. Defined by tactile textures, controlled colour, and a distinct geometric language, each object reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and a considered approach to form, material, and use.

Mikkel Nielsen is a Copenhagen–based design studio producing architectural lamps through 3D printing in bioplast. Each lamp is designed and produced in Copenhagen in small, limited series. The collection is defined by a clear formal logic: a single organic element repeated twelve times to form a balanced circular composition, creating a strong and recognisable identity. Production is intentionally kept small, allowing close control of material, surface, colour and light quality. The studio focuses on durability and long–term relevance rather than trends. At 3daysofdesign, the SSPL lamp is presented in 20 new colours.

Phantom Objects is a Belgian brand founded by Frederik Delbart with John Ghekiere, exploring form, material, and presence. A fireplace is often the centrepiece of a room and Eldvarm was founded on the belief that the objects alongside it should be beautiful enough to deserve that position. Eldvarm is a Scandinavian brand built on the idea that beauty is not surface, it is what makes something worth keeping. Every piece is made to do its job well and to stay beautiful doing it, year after year. What started with fireplace accessories has grown into a wider collection for the rituals of gathering around a flame.
