Estonia’s national story is simple: succeeding at change is our superpower; in design, that means future ready solutions with a gentle, human pace, delivered with a friendly, down to earth voice and clean, simple form. Silen, Slept, SEOS, House of Pärnamets, Maarit Pöör, Jalg, Aeris, RaSun, EMBAKUMBA—gathered at the Embassy of Estonia to show how a small, digitally fluent nation turns calm into a competitive edge—spaces and objects that make room to think, feel, and slow down. Together, they translate Estonia’s brand into lived experience: authentic materials, generous space, and technology that disappears into the background—design that invites you to slow down, breathe, and notice what matters in this moment.

The world needs change—more sustainability, stronger communities, and a better life for all. That’s why design isn’t just about creating something new; it’s also about improving what already is there, making it more beautiful, functional, playful, and appealing. It’s about listening to people’s needs and involving them in creating future solutions. At Kolding School of Design, creative people from all over the world come together to do just that—through craftsmanship, artistic expression, and research. The teaching is based on practical experience, the latest knowledge, and close collaboration with the outside world.

Dynaudio’s design originality lies in the way engineering becomes a form of craftsmanship. Not something to be displayed, but something to be felt through sound as part of everyday living. Sound is approached as a material in its own right, shaped with the same care, discipline, and intention as wood, metal, or textile within an interior environment. Rooted in Scandinavian engineering, precision and restraint guide every decision, allowing material, structure, and performance to evolve together. By developing core acoustic components in-house, sound is refined to feel balanced, natural, and calm rather than exaggerated or forced. This commitment to control, longevity, and quiet performance defines what we call Scandinavian Engineering.

14furniture is a Copenhagen-based gallery dedicated to rare and significant furniture, objects, and works of art from the early 19th century to the present. With a focus on Nordic design, artist-made furniture, Arts and Crafts, and early modernism, the gallery presents pieces selected for their cultural relevance and craftsmanship, rather than trends. Each object is approached as part of a longer narrative where architecture, art, and furniture intersect. 14furniture works with both historic and contemporary makers, creating exhibitions that encourage slow looking and informed collecting.

Bread and Butter is an itinerant exhibition platform that explores everyday rituals through the concept of paired objects. Transforming everyday spaces—such as bookstores, salons, restaurants, and parking lots—into stages for collaboration, designers from different generations and cultural backgrounds translate their personal routines and local traditions into perfectly matched pairs. Just as "bread and butter" signifies something essential and inseparable, the paired objects form functional, aesthetic, and social relationships—quietly conveying each designer's experiences and contexts, while opening space for new connections and creative dialogue with local communities.
