Nikari, established in 1967, is a Finnish design studio and furniture manufacturer advocating a harmonious way of living through the use of warm, natural materials and serene Nordic aesthetics. The company’s foundation rests on the idea of bringing out the very best of wood in contemporary design.

The NIKARI exhibition presents the latest updates from 2025 alongside a selection of timeless classics. This serene collection brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, featuring Finnish manufacturers Secto Design for lighting and Woodnotes for textiles and rugs. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Nikari exhibition offers a calm and understated sense of space. With a focus on simplicity and authenticity, it brings the atmosphere of solitude and silence from Finland to visitors from around the world.

Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. ykoon is a design label by Steven Gosseye built on conscious choice, valued not only for its design, but for the story, craftsmanship and integrity behind each piece. Each object seeks simplicity in form while remaining engaging through detail and proportion. Grounded in a strong technical foundation, every design is carefully refined down to its construction and finishing. The story of each object begins with an idea and evolves through sketches and prototypes into a well–considered result. Working exclusively with solid hardwoods, ykoon employs traditional joinery techniques, reflecting a deep respect for craftsmanship. Sustainability, tradition and character come together in objects shaped with care and intention.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

With deep respect for design and acknowledging the urgent need for a circular transformation, FÓLK creates objects and furniture that enable the circularity of materials. Some of FÓLKs circular designs—such as The Airbag and The Lava Vase—have already become modern design icons, expressing how one’s waste can become another’s treasure. FÓLK explores new circular systems and develops designs from materials that are discarded, disregarded or leftover and through that journey aspires to facilitate people and companies to create more responsible interior solutions.
