Nikari, established in 1967, is a Finnish design studio and furniture manufacturer advocating a harmonious way of living through the use of warm, natural materials and serene Nordic aesthetics. The company’s foundation rests on the idea of bringing out the very best of wood in contemporary design.

The NIKARI exhibition presents the latest updates from 2025 alongside a selection of timeless classics. This serene collection brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, featuring Finnish manufacturers Secto Design for lighting and Woodnotes for textiles and rugs. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Nikari exhibition offers a calm and understated sense of space. With a focus on simplicity and authenticity, it brings the atmosphere of solitude and silence from Finland to visitors from around the world.

Design Studio Lars Vejen is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Denmark and Japan. His work spans a broad spectrum of design disciplines, with a primary focus on furniture, urban elements, lighting, building components and home accessories, realised in close collaboration with traditional craftsmen and established industries. Working at the intersection of architecture and design, he develops products with a profound dedication to people, human interaction and architectural context, where form, function and enduring quality remain fundamental. His work seeks to create design that is of its time, with the ambition to endure as the classics of tomorrow. June 7th 2026, Lars Vejen marks his 30th anniversary as a practising architect.

FREITAG makes bags and accessories from used and, increasingly, circular materials. What began in Zurich in 1993 with messenger bags made from discarded truck tarps now comprises around 60 models, every product a one–off. FREITAG products are robust, functional everyday companions that, thanks to a range of repair and exchange services, can expect an even longer, more fulfilling life. The headquarter is in Zurich, where a large part of the truck tarpaulins are disassembled, washed, and cut to size.
