NIKARI

Nikari, established in 1967, is a Finnish design studio and furniture manufacturer advocating a harmonious way of living through the use of warm, natural materials and serene Nordic aesthetics. The company’s foundation rests on the idea of bringing out the very best of wood in contemporary design.

The NIKARI exhibition presents the latest updates from 2025 alongside a selection of timeless classics. This serene collection brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, featuring Finnish manufacturers Secto Design for lighting and Woodnotes for textiles and rugs. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Nikari exhibition offers a calm and understated sense of space. With a focus on simplicity and authenticity, it brings the atmosphere of solitude and silence from Finland to visitors from around the world.

Lapuan Kankurit is a linen and wool weaving mill based in Lapua, Finland. Their roots go all the way back to 1917, and today the company is led by the fourth generation. Together with top designers and professionals in the weaving industry, they weave sauna and spa textiles as well as wool blankets and other interior textiles from natural raw materials. They carry the responsibility of passing on the craftsmanship of weaving to the future generations. Lapuan Kankurit weaves responsibly, respecting the environment while continuously developing new innovations and techniques. They weave Nordic design, inspired by pure nature. To balance out the chilling climate of the north, they weave heaps of warmth and softness into their textiles.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. From spectacle to substance: if objects can be read, it’s because they have something to say. These are slow–cooked products, crafted to last, designed to be passed down through generations.

Extremis is a Belgian design brand that creates “tools for togetherness.” Founded in 1994 by designer Dirk Wynants, the company develops innovative furniture that supports human interaction and brings people together. Lise Vester Studio is a Copenhagen–based design practice working at the intersection of craft, design and atmosphere. Rooted in principles from healing architecture and neuroaesthetics, the studio explores how materials, light and form can support wellbeing and shift perception. The work spans sculptural lighting, optical objects and spatial installations developed through hands–on experimentation in close collaboration with makers. The Ukraine House in Denmark is a Ukrainian cultural diplomacy institution with a mission to deepen Ukrainian–Danish cooperation in the field of culture and creative industries for sustainable peace in Europe. Located in the Gammel Dok in the centre of Copenhagen, since 2023 Ukraine House hosted more than 16.500 guests, held 14 exhibitions of Ukrainian contemporary art, architecture, design, photography, organised more than 209 dialogues, panel discussions, lectures, and presentations, and integrated Ukrainian content into leading Danish cultural platforms, such as the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, Copenhagen Architecture Festival, Kulturnatten, Copenhagen Photography Festival, and 3daysofdesign.
