Nikari, established in 1967, is a Finnish design studio and furniture manufacturer advocating a harmonious way of living through the use of warm, natural materials and serene Nordic aesthetics. The company’s foundation rests on the idea of bringing out the very best of wood in contemporary design.

The NIKARI exhibition presents the latest updates from 2025 alongside a selection of timeless classics. This serene collection brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, featuring Finnish manufacturers Secto Design for lighting and Woodnotes for textiles and rugs. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Nikari exhibition offers a calm and understated sense of space. With a focus on simplicity and authenticity, it brings the atmosphere of solitude and silence from Finland to visitors from around the world.

Based in India, the studio is rooted in ancient wisdom, where sustainability and care are integral to everyday living. Working closely with local artisans and locally sourced wood, the furniture draws from South Asian traditions of sitting and spatial setting. Naturally seasoned, aged trees—crafted without nails or screws—form the core language of the work. A life–centred approach ensures no harmful disruptors enter the environment, protecting everyone from maker to end user. Continually pushing the boundaries of furniture typology, the studio explores Indian minimalism while revisiting traditional skills through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that hold space and life in equal measure.

Københavns Møbelsnedkeri is dedicated to the craft of making handmade furniture. Since 2006 they have made furniture, kitchens, wardrobes and bathrooms for both private and corporate customers around the world. Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

BIRDMIND is a Spanish company developing circular materials for architecture and interior design. Based in Galicia, it transforms agricultural waste into high–performance, sustainable solutions through applied research and industrial processes. Its flagship product, Rice Tab, is a technical board made from rice husks, offering durability, versatility and key properties such as fire resistance, water repellency, anti–fungal performance and being formaldehyde–free. Produced with renewable energy, zero water footprint and a closed–loop system, BIRDMIND materials are designed for real applications in interiors, furniture, retail and contract, demonstrating that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.

Vintola Studio, founded in Warsaw in 2018 by designer Ola Szewczul, is a Polish design brand focused on collectible furniture and contemporary functional design that merge vintage sensitivity with refined craftsmanship. The studio creates original furniture collections designed by Szewczul alongside carefully curated and restored vintage pieces, combining sculptural form, tactile materials and balanced proportions with everyday usability. Alongside collectible objects, Vintola Studio develops premium furniture for hospitality interiors, with pieces designed for luxury hotels, refined residential spaces and fine dining restaurants.

For the first time, inter.agcy and 3daysofdesign present GROUPED—a new curated showroom concept and exhibition in the latest Design District, Islands Brygge. Working with varying intentions and practices, this selected group of designers are united through their keen attention to detail, rigorous design processes, and a shared interest in materiality. GROUPED takes place in a vibrant courtyard with a rich, industrial history. Hidden in a elegantly renovated space, the juxtaposition between rough exteriors and refined interiors gives way to an engaging and memorable experience.

Ishinomaki Laboratory is a furniture brand founded in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. It began as a local initiative supporting recovery through DIY projects, restoring community spaces and collaborative efforts to reimagine the city. Early work included building outdoor benches with local high school students and workshops through Herman Miller’s disaster–relief program. In 2014, it became a company, expanding through collaborations with Japanese and international designers and distributing products globally. In 2024, it partnered with Karimoku Furniture to develop two series: Maker Pack and The Originals, made in Ishinomaki. Today, it serves as a hub for the global “Made in Local” network.
