VIA Design & Business is one of the largest design and business academies in the Nordic region, with more than 1.100 students in the fashion, furniture, and lifestyle industries. With campuses in Herning and Aarhus, VIA Design & Business covers a wide range of specialisations. The intersection of design and business is a unique part of the DNA, and cross–disciplinary collaboration gives students an in–depth understanding of companies’ value chains. The main focus is to contribute to the green transition.

VIA Design & Business presents a curated exhibition featuring current students and last year’s graduates. The themes include innovation, function, material experimentation, responsible production, and, of course, form. The exhibition showcases a wide variety of what engages design students in 2025. Several of these designs have been developed in collaboration with companies. This type of collaboration is a key focus of the program.

What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.

Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong anchor in both the public and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past 80 years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward–looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjöqvist, under the company name ESE Möbler. The headquarters are located at Vaggeryd, in Sweden, together with one of the factories. The second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö, Sweden.

Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.

SUDBROCK Möbelhandwerk realises passion for craftsmanship, wood and precision, down to the smallest detail. Making these visible in timeless design and unique furniture.
