VIA Design & Business is one of the leading educational institutions in the Nordic region within design and business, with a strong focus on the fashion, furniture, and lifestyle sectors. The close connection between developing design and understanding business is embedded in the programme’s DNA, shaping an educational environment where creativity, strategy, and responsibility converge.
This year’s exhibition presents an evolving exploration of sustainability, craftsmanship, and material experimentation. Rooted in a respect for skilled making and responsible design, the exhibition reflects a curiosity–driven approach where form, function, and materials are continuously tested and reimagined. Several of the exhibited pieces have been developed in close collaboration with external companies, creating a dialogue between design education, industry knowledge, and practical production. Rather than following a fixed narrative, the collection embraces diversity and process, highlighting ideas in motion and works in transition.
