Founded in 2011, cc–tapis is a contemporary rug company based in Milan, focused on an imaginative approach, bespoke attitude and an international collaborative ethos. cc–tapis’ rugs are designed in partnership with forward–thinking creatives, applying ancient techniques, modern technologies, high–quality materials and sustainable processes to constantly push the limits of what is considered possible in the realms of residential and contract rug–making.
cc-tapis takes part in DESIGN / DIALOGUE by Ark Journal, presenting a preview of Dedalo, a new collection designed by studioutte. Drawing inspiration from historical architectural motifs and ornamental systems, the collection translates these references into their most essential forms. Grids, pathways, and modular patterns shift and repeat across the surface, forming rhythmic configurations that emphasize continuity, and recurrence. Here, ornament and repetition converge as a shared logic, echoing the recurring gesture at the core of all textile practices, where meaning and form emerge through the quiet persistence of reiteration.
