The story of sog begins in the world of bespoke furniture in Japan, where its creators listened to countless stories—the single line drawn by an architect, the quiet wish of a user. To answer each one, the brand's artisans sculpted wood, tailored fabrics, and bent metal. The myriad forms born and then vanished in this process became what they call the “memories of design.” From this vast accumulation of memories and experience, “sog” was born: a brand that carves out the "So” (素)—the elemental form destined to become the standard of the future.

Founded in 1994, RUE VERTE is a gallery, concept store and interior design studio located in the heart of Copenhagen. Edin and Lina Kjellvertz launched Dusty Deco as a platform for curating vintage furniture, interior accessories and art. After having traveled the world and browsing flea markets for the most unique pieces, their home and storages quickly filled up to the brim with rare designs. Ten years later, Edin and Lina began drafting a new chapter in the brand’s history when closing the doors to its vintage business, instead launching their own collection of furniture, rugs and details. Today, Dusty Deco is a contemporary design brand, creating pieces with just as much storytelling, originality and passion for craftsmanship as the vintage finds that originally inspired the couple to start their company.
