At 3daysofdesign, DI creates a platform where innovation, design excellence, and sustainability converge. Visitors can explore how Danish companies transform ideas into tangible products, digital experiences, and immersive environments, all reflecting a commitment to responsible production and thoughtful design. Welcome to the group exhibition “Design at 108.”

For 3daysofdesign, DI presents "Design at 108"—a curated group exhibition featuring a selection of companies, each distinguished by a strong identity, bold vision, and a commitment to sustainable, high–quality design. Participating companies span diverse sectors—from furniture, lighting, and materials innovation to digital design and lifestyle solutions—demonstrating the breadth and dynamism of Danish industry.

Lapuan Kankurit is a linen and wool weaving mill based in Lapua, Finland. Their roots go all the way back to 1917, and today the company is led by the fourth generation. Together with top designers and professionals in the weaving industry, they weave sauna and spa textiles as well as wool blankets and other interior textiles from natural raw materials. They carry the responsibility of passing on the craftsmanship of weaving to the future generations. Lapuan Kankurit weaves responsibly, respecting the environment while continuously developing new innovations and techniques. They weave Nordic design, inspired by pure nature. To balance out the chilling climate of the north, they weave heaps of warmth and softness into their textiles.

Ethimo is an Italian company founded in 2009 that specialised in high–end outdoor furnishings that express contemporary design in a balanced synthesis of form and function. Study of materials and shapes of elements speak of the tailoring of a knowhow consolidated over time and of all–Italian style. A fusion of art, nature, tradition, contemporaneity and design that finds its identity and balance in every project bringing alive an idea of outdoor living made up of harmony with nature and respect for the environment. Ethimo projects stress the importance of protecting and preserving the natural environment and awareness of the physical and mental well–being generated by contact with nature.

Openhouse Studio leads creative projects and bears brands' messages in a comprehensive and unique way. The studio offers an array of opportunities that can be customised to every brand–specific needs through developing events and building individual brand identities using creative direction, photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting, among others. 
The studio emerged from Openhouse Magazine, a biannual publication that talks about art, design, architecture, and culture, which also serves as a platform to engage with an international professional audience.

Akua Objects was founded in 2022 by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur in Copenhagen, driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting. With a vision to design poetic tableware, Akua blends thoughtful design with master craftsmanship. Annika leads creative direction, while Josefine guides the brand as CEO. Collaborating with glassmakers in Murano and Bohemia, each piece balances artistry and utility, whispering tales of warmth and nostalgia. Akua’s designs invite emotional connection, bringing people together to share moments. Akua believes the table is where life unfolds—where memories are made and cherished. 14furniture is a Copenhagen-based gallery dedicated to rare and significant furniture, objects, and works of art from the early 19th century to the present. With a focus on Nordic design, artist-made furniture, Arts and Crafts, and early modernism, the gallery presents pieces selected for their cultural relevance and craftsmanship, rather than trends. Each object is approached as part of a longer narrative where architecture, art, and furniture intersect. 14furniture works with both historic and contemporary makers, creating exhibitions that encourage slow looking and informed collecting.
