String Furniture is a Swedish design company producing a range of modern classics and contemporary furniture brands. More than 95% of its furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction of its systems, which can be assembled in countless configurations and remain as relevant today as when first introduced in 1949. The collection includes Pira G2, originally conceived by Olle Pira in 1954 and reinterpreted in 2023 by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, as well as Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish Nationalmuseum, and Relief, a modular system created by TAF Studio.

Horreds designs, manufactures, and sells office and meeting furniture built on enduring values. Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.

A–N–D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer where original collections are conceptualised, built, and assembled in–house. The name A–N–D is derived from 'A New Detail.' The studio explores new design possibilities through innovative production methods and by integrating the latest lighting technologies. In pursuit of the visually poetic, A–N–D is inspired by the unexpected and the everyday—compelled by light’s ability to shape and animate space.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

Layers of Light creates sculptural wall lamps where art and precise engineered illumination merge. Each piece is built from carefully calculated layers of light, transforming the wall into a composition of depth, shadow, and reflection. Inspired by natural light phenomena, the work evokes a sensory response — light that can be felt as much as seen. These pieces replace traditional wall art while fundamentally reshaping the atmosphere of a space.
