The Norwegian Design Industry presents the Inside Norway exhibition and are showcasing 6 leading Norwegian brands at Framing and highlight the best of Norwegian design. The participating producers include LK Hjelle, Lundhs Real Stone, Ekornes, Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik, Flokk & Fjell and Jensen Beds.

All production takes place locally, with every stage—from spinning to weaving and finishing—carried out under one roof. This ensures full control over quality, traceability, and responsible production. With a deep understanding of wool’s natural properties, GU refines and reinterprets the material to meet the needs of contemporary interiors.

For more than 55 years, FRANDSEN has worked with light and lighting, and this is still a cornerstone in the heritage. Birgitte Due Madsen is a Copenhagen-based artist and designer working across furniture, objects, and sculptural form. Her practice centres on materiality, light, and aesthetics, exploring how structure and surface inform both function and perception. Working with materials such as gypsum, resin, wood stone, and concrete, she develops pieces through a process that moves from abstraction to precise realization. The work spans custom commissions, serial designs, and unique pieces, often produced in close dialogue with manufacturers. Defined by tactile textures, controlled colour, and a distinct geometric language, each object reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and a considered approach to form, material, and use.
