Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 150 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign. The debut fair exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation during Copenhagen's design festival. Building on this success, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign, reflecting design and architecture's fascination with what materials can do—and what they should no longer be asked to do.

Layers of Light creates sculptural wall lamps where art and precise engineered illumination merge. KLASSIK has specialised in original Scandinavian furniture, lighting, ceramics and art since 1991. From its two-storey showroom in central Copenhagen, KLASSIK presents a carefully curated selection of 20th-century design, supported by a large warehouse and a full online collection. With in-house upholstery and cabinetmaking workshops, KLASSIK restores and adapts both its own pieces and clients’ furniture with expert care. The company ships worldwide and works with private homes as well as larger interior projects. Its collection combines rare vintage pieces with an in-house production of relaunched classics, rooted in craftsmanship, material knowledge and design history.

Davidpompa is a Mexican lighting studio focused on materiality, research and craftsmanship, creating collections that explore the beauty of raw materials. Founded by designer David Pompa, the studio collaborates with artisans across Mexico, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design language. The work is rooted in respect for material and process, where each piece reflects heritage and refined design. Materials such as clay, stone and metal are central to the collections, shaped through skilled craftsmanship and ongoing material exploration. Davidpompa creates lighting that is tactile and atmospheric, balancing precision with a strong connection to material and making, resulting in objects that feel timeless and refined.
