Founded in Copenhagen, Ancher works locally with a production setup that allows for fast delivery without compromising quality. Their new studio—an old butcher shop transformed into a ceramic studio—reflects this approach: original materials, honest processes, and modern design. Örsjö is founded on simple values and strong convictions, dedicated to developing and handcrafting premium lighting in its local factory with the sincere ambition of leaving the best possible mark on the planet. For this reason, craftsmanship lies at the heart of Örsjö’s work, with local artisans involved across the entire product range. Welding, soldering, bending, polishing, painting, assembling, glass blowing, and leather carving all take place either in Örsjö’s own factory or in trusted workshops within the region.
