What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.

And in close collaboration with some of the world’s most influential contemporary designers, Abstracta is constantly exploring new ways to create better soundscapes. RERO glass is a public access studio that works exclusively with recycle glass. RERO Glass explores themes of eco–friendly consumption while collaborating with universities and international artists and designers. Frederik has set RERO up to invite artists, designers, architects and students in to explore the material and research techniques and collaborate. Besides making products and projects the studio offers workshops, events, and university programs on a regular basis, now hosting close to 2500 people yearly. Currently RERO is launching a new endeavour; lighting. Collaborations, connections and concepts, all in recycle glass and on a global scale.

Studio Kajsa Willner creates bespoke design with a narrative and a strong focus on materiality. Through artistic research, low–tech craftsmanship, and conceptual thinking, the studio develops objects, sculptures, materials, and spatial installations, often using waste or secondary materials as a starting point. The work centres around the relationship between people, animals, nature, and resources. By researching historical materials, crafts, and production methods from a time when humans lived in closer symbiosis with nature, Willner seeks to explore empathic ways to relate to contemporary consumption and production.

Søuld is an innovative Danish material manufacturer committed to providing carbon-storing and recyclable acoustic materials made from eelgrass to forward-thinking designers, builders and end-users. Søuld produces functional and beautiful alternatives to traditional building materials, while improving human health and well-being. Søuld’s eelgrass products originate from the sea—a place you are never far from in Søuld’s native Denmark. The organic material embodies the same sense of calm provided by the sea and when taken indoors, it imbues living spaces with a restorative connection to nature.
