Vintola Studio, founded in Warsaw in 2018 by designer Ola Szewczul, is a Polish design brand focused on collectible furniture and contemporary functional design that merge vintage sensitivity with refined craftsmanship. The studio creates original furniture collections designed by Szewczul alongside carefully curated and restored vintage pieces, combining sculptural form, tactile materials and balanced proportions with everyday usability. Kilzi means many things to its founder: it is his family name, weird in his context and a symbol of other lands, Kilzi is the family context and a story of immigration and personal growth, it also means ancient history and heritage, movement, renewal, childhood. In Jorge S Kilzi's eyes, his creations are an expression of who he is and of where his many experiences have taken him. Kilzi's work is honest and seeks to create emotional value. Some items find their worth in practicality, technology, comfort or decorations: Kilzi doesn't refuse any of the previous but seeks value in human connection through objects. This year Kilzi will host one event and be part of two collaborative shows.

Ishinomaki Laboratory is a furniture brand founded in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. It began as a local initiative supporting recovery through DIY projects, restoring community spaces and collaborative efforts to reimagine the city. Early work included building outdoor benches with local high school students and workshops through Herman Miller’s disaster–relief program. In 2014, it became a company, expanding through collaborations with Japanese and international designers and distributing products globally. In 2024, it partnered with Karimoku Furniture to develop two series: Maker Pack and The Originals, made in Ishinomaki. Today, it serves as a hub for the global “Made in Local” network.

Momentum highlights the ability to turn heritage into contemporary objects, positioning Portugal as a design ecosystem where craftsmanship, industry and innovation evolve together.
