It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Miele design represents innovation, value and timeless elegance. It shapes the relationship between the person and the product, meets expectations, facilitates handling and creates trust.

Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.

Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Barcelona–based design studio, Devon Liedtke, is a collection of objects for the here and there, thoughtfully designed and crafted in Europe. The collections span materials, from earthenware and charred wood to marble and onyx, united by a shared language of texture, tone, and form. Rooted in design and organic simplicity, the work honours the beauty of everyday rituals: a raku vase holding a single stem, a porcelain cup kept close at night, a carved bowl of salt at the table.

Sibast Furniture is a Danish family company with a proud heritage of fine furniture craftsmanship dating back to 1908. Since 2013, the fourth generation has continued the legacy, combining respectful reissues of iconic 1950s designs by Helge Sibast, Arne Vodder, and Piet Hein with new timeless pieces created with contemporary designers like Eistrup, Utzon, Frost, Solberg, Henrik Hvid Hansen, Anna & Ditlev Sibast. Recently, Sibast Furniture expanded with the acquisition of Bent Hansen, adding sculptural comfort and upholstery expertise, including signature designs like the Primum chair. The collection unites heritage, craftsmanship, and modern design for homes, hotels, and global projects, built to be passed on to future generations.
