Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. You can sense it in the whole—it simply feels right. FUNCTION / FRICTION / FINESSE / FOGIA
Copenhagen fills with movement during 3daysofdesign. People move quickly, from one impression to the next. But every now and then, something invites you to slow down. The Fogia Bookstore is one such place. Created with Copenhagen–based publishing house Le Petit Voyeur, it’s a space shaped around reading—and everything that surrounds it. Furniture and books may seem like different disciplines, yet both begin as ideas, shaped by hands and refined through time. Welcome to experience new members of the Fogia Collection, together with selected titles by Le Petit Voyeur.
