MAS
MAS will exhibit as part of the Japanmade Vol 1. exhibition. The exhibition focus is on contemporary Japanese design and craftsmanship, that will debut during 3daysofdesign 2026, in Copenhagen. MAS presents furniture rooted in Japanese woodworking expertise and a deep understanding of timber. Launched in 2018 under the design direction of Wataru Kumano, MAS explores new methods and material expressions, exemplified by its debut collection made entirely from Hinoki—Japanese cypress—a softwood rarely used in furniture. The exhibition is curated by OEO Studio and produced by Jens H. Jensen.
