Vaarnii is a furniture & lighting company making brutal and sophisticated objects from a single and plentiful natural raw material, Finnish pine. All products are made by local craftspeople and factories in Finland.

Vaarnii & Kasthall will transform the café at Den Frie Udstilling into a vision of brutal pine and precision woven. Discover Vaarnii furniture, lighting and new accessories alongside new rug collections by Kasthall, accompanied by Nordic treats and a daily talk programme. The DESIGN/DIALOGUE exhibition at Den Frie Udstilling is curated by Ark Journal.

The concept behind Woodnotes est. 1987 products is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology, to shape beautiful local raw materials. Softness of wool, purity of paper, glow of linen—the company collection represents timeless products of rare aesthetic quality. The unique paper yarn innovation—durable, allergy–friendly designer rugs and blinds made of paper yarn and cotton, are represented together with a selection of outdoor rugs, tufted wool–linen carpets, and atelier–woven cotton–paper yarn and wool–paper yarn rugs, among others.

Nosou is a contemporary Japanese design brand rooted in natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Guided by the theme 'Time Makes Beauty,' they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wabi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.

Born in Rome—Refined in Helsinki—Designed for Generations. RYTSOLA, a Finnish–Italian family company, makes its international debut at 3daysofdesign, bringing its cross–cultural designs to Copenhagen for the very first time. The brand is the realisation of a shared vision between mother and son, Carola and Aksel Rytsola. For them, design is an act of hospitality, a bridging of cultures, and a commitment to longevity. They believe that great design must always serve a purpose while fostering human connection. Together, they combine the clean, natural harmony of Finland with the tactile elegance of Italy, designing handmade furniture and marble accessories meant to be touched, used, and ultimately, passed down.

Naver Collection is proudly crafted in Denmark by Aksel Kjersgaard A/S (1952) and Gramrode Møbelfabrik A/S (1924), a collaboration est. in 1995. The design is a fusion of innovative design, classic craftsmanship, and the heritage of a rich design history. The design philosophy revolves around wood as an essential resource, challenged and combined with leather, laminate, stainless steel, and Corian© to create innovative furniture with a focus on aesthetics, comfort, and functionality. Each design is created with meticulous care - we take pride in every detail. Naver Collection collaborates with national and international designers such as Hans Sandgren Jakobsen, Henrik Lehm, Susanne Grønlund, Nissen & Gehl MDD. and Gehl & Møller.

Modern Metier is a French design platform with a curated selection of contemporary brands and progressive designers. Working with talents from Paris to Stockholm, the platform represents a select roster of European designers, each distinguished by a singular perspective and original point of view. The name “métier,” drawn from the French word for craft, reflects the studio’s commitment to quality and enduring craftsmanship. In 2024, Modern Metier introduced its first collection of furniture and lighting named 'Solstice' in collaboration with French designer Léa Zeroil. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the designer and local artisans specialising in woodwork, ceramics, upholstery and metalwork.

Working with exceptional local craftsmen, Phantom Objects creates uncompromising quality pieces in noble materials such as solid brass, natural stone and solid wood. Produced in limited quantities and designed to evolve through use, each object celebrates permanence, craftsmanship and enduring beauty in an increasingly temporary world.
