Vaarnii is a furniture & lighting company making brutal and sophisticated objects from a single and plentiful natural raw material, Finnish pine. All Vaarnii products are made by local craftspeople and factories in Finland.

During 3daysofdesign, Vaarnii will take up temporary residence in their own exhibition space in the centre of Copenhagen. Here, they will unveil the new additions to the Maasto range of furniture by Ronan Bouroullec including a new table, stool with a special collaboration with esteemed textile producer and Copenhagen resident, Kvadrat. Vaarnii will also debut products in black stained finish: familiar pine forms reimagined. This launch marks the latest chapter in Vaarnii’s ongoing exploration of pine as a radical and refined material for furniture making.

VAMA FORM bridges art and functional design. Each timeless, durable piece is inspired by natural forms and landscapes, continuing the artist and designer Marianna Zaborska's long-standing dialogue with nature. VAMA FORM is more than furniture - each creation is a functional work of art that enriches both public and private spaces. A table becomes a place for dialogue and connection. Every item is one-of-a-kind—designed by Marianna Zaborska and handmade by Tomek Kozicki, who brings expert craftsmanship, material sensitivity, and a blend of traditional and sustainable techniques to the VAMA workshop.

Graduate designer Anke Neumann makes handmade paper glow in an unusual way. In her workshop, she makes large–format papers, incorporating light–conducting fibres. Similar to veins, these run through the paper surface and also form a kind of framework that contributes to the stability of the form. LED light is guided through the fibres and emitted laterally outwards in the paper layer. Together with the material aesthetics and design language, the light papers combine sculpture, luminaire and unique piece. They are not just objects that attract a lot of attention due to their shape. They are capable of enchanting a room, bathing it in poetic light.

FENIX are the innovative materials created for interior design by Arpa Industriale in 2013. The FENIX family is now an open system that includes both surface materials and interior solutions. Created with proprietary technologies, FENIX makes you experience unique features. At first glance, the surfaces strike for their super–matt appearance. By touching them, you feel how pleasantly soft they are, with the further surprise of leaving no fingerprints. Thermal healing of superficial micro–scratches is also possible. Stories coming from different sides of the world are the inspiration behind FENIX timeless palette. Its surfaces are suitable for furnishing and interior fitting with vertical and horizontal applications.
