Skovby furniture is based on ideas of simplicity, functionality and great details. One of the great details is that Skovby only use sustainable wood. Another is a commitment to the original trade. Throughout the years, Skovby has educated more than 250 men and women within the ﬁeld of furniture production. With an inclusive staff policy, a ﬂexible senior policy and a constant ﬂow of around 10 apprentices, Skovby carry core values while also investing in the future. Skovby work hard and passionately each day to uphold the traditions of great Danish design. Skovby still produces furniture locally, in Denmark–strengthening and embracing the know-how and craftsmanship necessary for creating the ultimate the ultimate Danish design piece.

Lapalma’s story begins with their past as artisans over 40 years ago, in Padua, Italy. Success evolved the company into industry, but the spirit of craftsmanship remained intact while collaborating with international designers. David Trubridge is an internationally renowned lighting designer who is resolute in his mission to create sustainably produced products with a natural and organic aesthetic. Trubridge believes that the combination of these two principles directly affects the product’s sustainability, maintaining that consumers are less likely to discard products that are beautiful.
His work came to prominence in 2001 when the Italian design house Cappellini bought the rights for his steambent ash recliner. The Coral light followed in 2003, establishing a blueprint for kitset products that minimised their environmental footprint. The company is proud to be B-Corp certified and hold Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Swiss based USM Modular Furniture has been providing timeless and high–quality modular furniture designs suitable for both home and office environments for 60 years. Recognised as a design classic, USM Modular Furniture was formally accepted into the permanent Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), confirming the artistic character of the product.
