PBJ Designhouse was founded in 1968 and has been Danish–owned ever since. PBJ is known for making modern home furniture inspired by classic Danish design and they now also expands into commercial interiors. At their workshop on Portugal's Silver Coast, De La Espada combines artisanal furniture making savoir faire with rigorous, research–based contemporary design. Their portfolio of iconic and timeless pieces includes designs by their in–house studio, De La Espada Atelier, and by great figures in the world of international design. Specialising in woodworking and upholstery, they also collaborate with Portuguese artisans across disciplines. De La Espada sits at the heart of design and craft in Portugal and represents true luxury: creativity rather than imitation; extensive research and development; traditional methods that are in scarce supply; a singular aesthetic point–of–view; and no compromise when it comes to materials or effort.

SF–SO is an industrial design studio operating between San Francisco and Seoul, founded in 2019 by Jaehoon Jung and Hoyoung Joo. The studio focuses on simplifying the relationship between users, objects, and their environment rather than creating attention–seeking forms. Through the refinement of structure, manufacturing logic, and function, SF–SO reduces visual and physical complexity, allowing objects to exist quietly within everyday environments.This approach extends into its furniture brand SFSO–MFG®, where the studio translates its philosophy into tangible products meant to be understood through use and physical experience.
