Room for Resonance - a presentation of products by Resident. This special presentation from the New Zealand design house promises to be an exploration of attuned living through craft, material and atmosphere. Together with selected designers, Residents presentation frames Furniture, Lighting and Textiles as a composed, cohesive environment - designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. Bread and Butter is an itinerant exhibition platform that explores everyday rituals through the concept of paired objects. Transforming everyday spaces—such as bookstores, salons, restaurants, and parking lots—into stages for collaboration, designers from different generations and cultural backgrounds translate their personal routines and local traditions into perfectly matched pairs. Just as "bread and butter" signifies something essential and inseparable, the paired objects form functional, aesthetic, and social relationships—quietly conveying each designer's experiences and contexts, while opening space for new connections and creative dialogue with local communities.

Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, with architect Børge Mogensen heading up the studio. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: To create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. FDB Møbler is internationally known as a frontrunner of Danish design. It’s a story of classic pieces to be passed down from generation to generation. Regardless of whether they are talking about iconic pieces or new, innovative designs, the goal is the same: To have the veritable quality of life that was envisioned when the first pieces of furniture emerged in 1942.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.
