Founded in 2010 in Copenhagen, &Tradition is an international brand, built on a Danish legacy of craftsmanship and design. &Tradition tell stories with originality. Whether the starting point is new or re–issued, they are passionate about designing the classics of tomorrow. They believe in empowering their employees and network of creatives, designers and partners to take an active part in their journey as a brand. With the planet and the people at the core, we strive to always act conscientiously.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, &Tradition presents Traces—an exhibition that explores the enduring marks of design, craft, and culture. By looking at process, material and making, the brand reflects on how every act of creation carries both legacy and impact, and how designing with a care informs what is inherited and what is left behind. Traces seeks to uncover the common threads that connect classic and contemporary, local and global, past and future. Through exhibitions, new product launches, and community gatherings at Lille Petra Café, Petra Hotel, and &Tradition's flagship showroom, Traces considers how heritage and originality coexist, how impact guides creative decisions, and the power of authenticity in shaping the future.

Tina Frey Designs, based in San Francisco, California, specializes in timeless, functional objects, furniture, and lighting. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from start to finish, reflecting a commitment to thoughtful design that brings serenity and joy to everyday spaces. The studio’s entirely human, hands-on process results in organic, wabi-sabi-inspired creations that cannot be replicated by mass production. Using materials like resin, bronze, brass, and stainless steel, the designs combine minimalist elegance with practical functionality. The collections include limited edition art works, products featured in commercial projects, and are available at the showroom, select boutiques worldwide, and the studio’s online shop.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Established in 2020 in Armenia, OCHRE merges artistic ideas with artisanal expertise to craft objects for everyday life. At the heart of OCHRE’s practice is wool—a material that serves as both a physical foundation and a source of reflection. Yet wool is a starting point, never an obligatory final destination. In recent years, OCHRE’s collections have expanded into the world of embroidery, ceramics, and beyond. Guided by the theme 'Time Makes Beauty,' they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wabi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.
