Founded in 2010 in Copenhagen, &Tradition is an international brand, built on a Danish legacy of craftsmanship and design. &Tradition tell stories with originality. Whether the starting point is new or re–issued, they are passionate about designing the classics of tomorrow. For this year’s 3daysofdesign, &Tradition presents Traces – an exhibition that explores the enduring marks of design, craft, and culture. By looking at process, material and making, the brand reflects on how every act of creation carries both legacy and impact, and how designing with a care informs what is inherited and what is left behind. Traces seeks to uncover the common threads that connect classic and contemporary, local and global, past and future. Through exhibitions, new product launches, and community gatherings at Lille Petra Café, Petra Hotel, and &Tradition's flagship showroom, Traces considers how heritage and originality coexist, how impact guides creative decisions, and the power of authenticity in shaping the future.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

Since its inception in 1960, Expormim has consistently embraced a global perspective in design, craftsmanship and innovation. Their catalogues are made up of original pieces for indoor and outdoor use, committed to environmental sustainability, quality and good design. This is how they have quickly moved beyond the intimacy of the household, finding their place in an increasing number of contract projects, from luxury hotels and restaurants to chic cafés, gastropubs, and exclusive public and private events.

NORDICMODERN presents the woven rugs of Danish textile artist Vibeke Klint (1927–2019), reissued in collaboration with her family. Klint approached textiles as part of the interior - working with proportion, rhythm and colour to create calm foundations rather than décor. Her rugs were made to be lived with and walked on, and to age naturally over time. All rugs are handwoven using her original designs and techniques, continuing a Danish modern textile tradition in a contemporary context. During 3daysofdesign the collection is shown in a spatial setting where material and colour can be experienced up close. Vibeke Klint's rugs can modernise a traditional room and add character and balance to a minimalist interior.

Origin Made is a Porto-based craft-focused design brand founded in 2019 by Gabriel Tan and Cherie Er, built on the belief that meaningful objects emerge from direct dialogue between designers and makers. Pairing international designers with craftspeople from Iberia and beyond, the brand develops contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, and collectible objects that celebrate regional craft traditions. Each piece is shaped as much by the hands that make it as by the concept behind it, a process that values collaborative contemplation, material honesty, and the irreplaceable knowledge held by skilled craftspeople. Origin Made’s showcase at 3daysofdesign is supported by the DesignSingapore Council.

Arthur Rottier is a designer and product developer based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. His practice moves between commissioned work and self–initiated projects, driven by an interest in how objects can be conceived and produced locally using contemporary means. The work is defined by advanced, computer–controlled engineering and production methods, careful finishing, and a restrained approach to form. Durability is central: materials are chosen for wear resistance, constructions are clear and legible, and connections are simple. Affordability is considered part of the design challenge. At the core of the practice lies the belief that beauty is essential to sustainability. Objects that are valued are cared for, and what is cared for lasts.
