Founded in 2010 in Copenhagen, &Tradition is an international brand, built on a Danish legacy of craftsmanship and design. &Tradition tell stories with originality. Whether the starting point is new or re–issued, they are passionate about designing the classics of tomorrow. They believe in empowering their employees and network of creatives, designers and partners to take an active part in their journey as a brand. With the planet and the people at the core, we strive to always act conscientiously.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, &Tradition presents Traces – an exhibition that explores the enduring marks of design, craft, and culture. By looking at process, material and making, the brand reflects on how every act of creation carries both legacy and impact, and how designing with a care informs what is inherited and what is left behind. Traces seeks to uncover the common threads that connect classic and contemporary, local and global, past and future. Through exhibitions, new product launches, and community gatherings at Lille Petra Café, Petra Hotel, and &Tradition's flagship showroom, Traces considers how heritage and originality coexist, how impact guides creative decisions, and the power of authenticity in shaping the future.

With more than 150 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign. The debut fair exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation during Copenhagen's design festival. Building on this success, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign, reflecting design and architecture's fascination with what materials can do—and what they should no longer be asked to do.
