Søuld’s eelgrass products originate from the sea—a place you are never far from in Søuld’s native Denmark. The organic material embodies the same sense of calm provided by the sea and when taken indoors, it imbues living spaces with a restorative connection to nature.

Mobelcph is driven by a passion for quality design furniture, blending Japanese craftsmanship with modern technology. Curated by Claudio Guarino, the collection features pieces by renowned Danish designer Kai Kristiansen and the organic, vibrant creations of the Milan–based Japanese–Danish design duo, Inoda+Sveje, among others. Combining fine woodworking with contemporary production techniques, the designs prioritise ergonomics, aesthetics, and lasting quality—creating furniture that is both visually and physically engaging. Some pieces are crafted by expert carpenters in Japan, while others celebrate the seamless fusion of Danish and Japanese design traditions.

In the heart of District Nordhavn, stands Nordhus — an architectural gem and vibrant hub of community and creativity. Nordhus is home to 30 young cultural creators, offering not just housing, but also a platform for music, gastronomy and events as they transition into adulthood. Open six days a week, Nordhus hosts communal dinners, talks, concerts, quiz nights, and family activities. Everyone is welcome to join the community and experience its dynamic cultural scene. At its core is the main room with nearly 6–meter–high ceilings, blending sustainable materials and design to create an inviting, eco–friendly atmosphere.

The atelier works with premium natural materials like esparto grass and rattan, transforming them into custom pieces with a fresh, modern aesthetic. Its multidisciplinary team explores the full potential of natural fibres through techniques like weaving, moulding, and dyeing to create atmospheres that blend beauty with environmental responsibility. Rooted in craftsmanship, its approach is innovative and experimental, resulting in designs that are both contemporary and timeless.
