RUE VERTE

Founded in 1994, RUE VERTE is a gallery, concept store and interior design studio located in the heart of Copenhagen. Bringing together contemporary design, art, vintage pieces and collected objects, RUE VERTE has developed a distinct approach to creating interiors where different periods, disciplines and expressions coexist naturally. Rather than separating art, design and collecting into categories, RUE VERTE explores the dialogue that emerges when they are brought together within a cohesive environment.

For this year's 3daysofdesign, RUE VERTE presents a newly transformed interior. Within the gallery, dedicated presentations highlight the work of Shuhei Fukuda, Jojo Corväiá, Karen Verlinden and Studio Henry Wilson, alongside a salon-style installation featuring contemporary art, vintage lighting, rare books and original architectural elements by Jean Prouvé. The exhibition also includes works and collections from Bieke Casteleyn, Boldizar Senteski, Ceccotti Collezioni, Collection Particulière, CTO Lighting, Delcourt Collection, Entrelacs Creation, Koen Van Guijze, Maja Karen, Meridiani, Morten Angelo, Natural Material Studio, Ochre, Overgaard & Dyrman, Simonsen & Czechura, Toogood and Vogel Studio, among others.

Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987, and has since been developing efficacious and aromatic formulations for the skin, hair, body and home, guided by a sincere interest in intelligent design—their pared–back containers are created with the utmost care to ensure functionality and pleasure, and each store interior is created with careful consideration to the fabric of its neighbourhood. Based in Denmark, the company is renowned for its dedication to high–quality craftsmanship and sustainable production. The brand specialises in timeless furniture, with a primary focus on sideboards and pieces featuring classic tambour doors. These iconic designs are rooted in the golden age of Danish modernism, specifically the 1950s and 1960s. HUBBUB develops 100% natural acoustic materials for architecture, replacing synthetic layers in acoustic systems. Made from jute fibres and natural latex, without added plastics, the material combines documented performance with long lifespan and architectural integrity. ESSENCE surfaces remain open and breathable, preserving acoustic performance while adding tactile depth. Natural elements are pressed into the surface, becoming part of its texture rather than applied decoration. Designed in Denmark, the material stores carbon and is developed for long-term use.

Studio Kajsa Willner creates bespoke design with a narrative and a strong focus on materiality. Through artistic research, low–tech craftsmanship, and conceptual thinking, the studio develops objects, sculptures, materials, and spatial installations, often using waste or secondary materials as a starting point. The work centres around the relationship between people, animals, nature, and resources. By researching historical materials, crafts, and production methods from a time when humans lived in closer symbiosis with nature, Willner seeks to explore empathic ways to relate to contemporary consumption and production.
