RUE VERTE

Founded in 1994, RUE VERTE is a gallery, concept store and interior design studio located in the heart of Copenhagen. Bringing together contemporary design, art, vintage pieces and collected objects, RUE VERTE has developed a distinct approach to creating interiors where different periods, disciplines and expressions coexist naturally. Rather than separating art, design and collecting into categories, RUE VERTE explores the dialogue that emerges when they are brought together within a cohesive environment.

For this year's 3daysofdesign, RUE VERTE presents a newly transformed interior. Within the gallery, dedicated presentations highlight the work of Shuhei Fukuda, Jojo Corväiá, Karen Verlinden and Studio Henry Wilson, alongside a salon-style installation featuring contemporary art, vintage lighting, rare books and original architectural elements by Jean Prouvé. The exhibition also includes works and collections from Bieke Casteleyn, Boldizar Senteski, Ceccotti Collezioni, Collection Particulière, CTO Lighting, Delcourt Collection, Entrelacs Creation, Koen Van Guijze, Maja Karen, Meridiani, Morten Angelo, Natural Material Studio, Ochre, Overgaard & Dyrman, Simonsen & Czechura, Toogood and Vogel Studio, among others.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Over the years, it has operated as an OEM manufacturer for numerous leading furniture brands and continues to do so. The recent physical inauguration of its showroom on Grønningen in Central Copenhagen provides an excellent opportunity to introduce our their designs, grounded in its core principles. At NORDST, every design is seen as a challenge to be overcome through resilience and innovation. The company maintains its own production facilities in both Asia and Europe, ensuring that all designs are developed in-house without compromising quality.The primary material used in designs is natural stones in all shapes.

KLASSIK has specialised in original Scandinavian furniture, lighting, ceramics and art since 1991. From its two-storey showroom in central Copenhagen, KLASSIK presents a carefully curated selection of 20th-century design, supported by a large warehouse and a full online collection. With in-house upholstery and cabinetmaking workshops, KLASSIK restores and adapts both its own pieces and clients’ furniture with expert care. The company ships worldwide and works with private homes as well as larger interior projects. Its collection combines rare vintage pieces with an in-house production of relaunched classics, rooted in craftsmanship, material knowledge and design history.
