"The most important prerequisite for all life and work is light." These are the words of the Danish VELUX founder, Villum Kann Rasmussen. Since the patent of the VELUX roof window in 1942, the VELUX Group has believed in driving change within the company, the sector and beyond. The VELUX Group strives to transform indoor spaces to have a positive impact on the people who live, work and play in them while being at the forefront of climate and nature action. The VELUX brand is about transforming spaces into favourite places. VELUX products bring daylight and fresh air into homes and buildings all over the world. VELUX solutions, from roof windows and sun tunnels to blinds and shutters, help create healthy and comfortable indoor environments.

For 3daysofdesign, VELUX and Pas Normal Studios present an experience that highlights how daylight shapes our perception and our lifes. The exhibition features Danish visual artist Christina Augustesen’s poetic sculpture installations, where shifting colours and reflections reveal the subtle ways daylight influences perception and space. Outdoors, guests can gather for networking, mingling, and refreshments beneath an open sky that showcases the power of natural light and its ability to bring people, art, and design together.

A–POC, the acronym of 'A Piece Of Cloth', is the name of the integrated design and manufacturing system first introduced in Paris by Issey Miyake in 1998. A–POC revolutionised the process of clothes–making with its innovative concept of a streamlined, all–in–one operation, in which all the parts of the clothing are pre–woven into a single piece of cloth. Launched in 2021, A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE aims to realise the infinite potential of the A–POC system with society in mind—hence the name 'ABLE'. The brand’s designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae and his team of engineers value the dialogue between creator and wearer, as they engage with different professions and industries to further explore new possibilities in design and making.

Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The Boffi|DePadova Way of Living is made up of details, customs and practices woven together into a rich tapestry. The group proudly narrates this story via the offering of interior systems and furniture elements where quality and consistency are fundamental values. Versatility and the intelligent use of interior space form the basis of the integrated design offer from Boffi|DePadova. These two aspects are expressed by the group in the way it develops not only individual products with a unique personality, but in its ability to put forth a complete project that conveys a distinct mood by merging different entities. It is a manifesto of contemporary architecture.

Lise Vester Studio is a Copenhagen–based design practice working at the intersection of craft, design and atmosphere. Rooted in principles from healing architecture and neuroaesthetics, the studio explores how materials, light and form can support wellbeing and shift perception. The work spans sculptural lighting, optical objects and spatial installations developed through hands–on experimentation in close collaboration with makers. Each piece is conceived as a sensory tool—inviting pause, reflection and a deeper connection to place and self.

The story of sog begins in the world of bespoke furniture in Japan, where its creators listened to countless stories—the single line drawn by an architect, the quiet wish of a user. To answer each one, the brand's artisans sculpted wood, tailored fabrics, and bent metal. The myriad forms born and then vanished in this process became what they call the “memories of design.” From this vast accumulation of memories and experience, “sog” was born: a brand that carves out the "So” (素)—the elemental form destined to become the standard of the future.
