“The most important prerequisite for all life and work is light.” These are the words of Danish VELUX founder Villum Kann Rasmussen. Since patenting the VELUX roof window in 1942, the VELUX Group has driven change within the company, the sector, and beyond. The brand is dedicated to transforming indoor spaces to positively impact the people who live, work, and play in them, while leading climate and nature action. VELUX products—from roof windows and sun tunnels to blinds and shutters—bring daylight and fresh air into homes and buildings worldwide, creating healthy and comfortable indoor environments.

During 3daysofdesign, VELUX will together with Pas Normal Studios invite everyone to come by and experience a space filled with daylight and design. Thomas Lykke and OEO Studio are the interior designers behind the headquarters for the cycling apparel fashion brand located in the heart of Nordhavn. VELUX has consulted on daylight solutions to help bring the space to life for everyone working there. Normally, the venue is used as an office for employees of Pas Normal Studios but during the 3daysofdesign visitors are welcome to wander around the different rooms to see the role that daylight and design plays in an everyday context. Staff will be there to greet you and answer any questions.

Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Trained as an architect, Finn Juhl approached furniture as an artistic discipline rather than a purely functional task. His work challenged established ideas of construction and use, introducing sculptural forms and a clear sense of proportion that helped shape Danish modernism. For more than two decades, House of Finn Juhl has held the exclusive rights to revive and produce Finn Juhl’s furniture designs, working to preserve the intent and principles behind his work—an approach that continues to resonate across generations.
