Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus—on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. Their focus is on on the interiors that surround us—how they are built and how they work. “How do we interact in the public space? Has today's society added new demands? Has our way of socialising changed?” To meet today's demands and desires, Blå Station believes it is necessary to have an open and innovative mind, a child's curiosity as well as a heart that rejects shortcuts and apathy. This year’s news and designs are a continuation of Blå Station’s interpretation of these questions and future requirements, and the antistatic product design. Why settle for one option? JAER + LOEGE is a Norwegian design company founded in 2022 by Mette Kjær Enger Løge and Lars Løge, with Antonio Cascos Chamizo as Head of Design. The company introduces Architectural Electronics, a new design category where functionality meets aesthetics. Its sockets, dimmers, and light switches are crafted from oak and concrete, offering a tactile quality beyond plastic solutions. By reducing plastic and using durable, recyclable materials, it provides a sustainable alternative to conventional wall products. String Furniture is a Swedish design company that produces a number of modern classics and furniture brands. More than 95% of the furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction that can be put together in an infinite number of configurations and is just as modern as when it debuted in 1949. Pira G2, originally conceived by Olle Pira in 1954, in a contemporary interpretation by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström in 2023. Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish National Museum and Relief, a modular system, by TAF Studio.

Cathrine Raben Davidsen, owner of CRD studio, is a Danish artist primarily recognised as a painter, although she has been working with ceramics for the past 15 years. She blends minimalism with organic forms, seamlessly integrating functionality with artistic expression. Using traditional handcrafting techniques, she emphasises the individuality of each piece. Materials such as clay and porcelain are carefully chosen to highlight tactile qualities, fostering a deep connection to nature. Drawing inspiration from her background as a painter and Scandinavian culture, her work embodies simplicity, functionality, and a profound respect for both nature and craftsmanship.

Peach Corner is an artist–run exhibition space for artistic materialisations in clay. Peach Corner present the ceramic discipline across craft, design and visual art expressions in what is, obviously, a fairly fluid field. In the permanent exhibition space, Peach Corner organises seven exhibitions a year. During 3daysofdesign, Peach Corner will stage a special exhibition that presents functional ceramics: objects that play a part in acts and utilitarian contexts. Peach Corner wishes to showcase good ceramic ideas, sensuous shapes and clay transformed into form and design with a distinct character and contemporary relevance.

In collaboration with Copenhagen Design Hotels, the original Kay Fisker building from 1943 has been carefully restored, preserving original details, and blending them with &Tradition's contemporary and classic pieces.
