Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy. 14furniture is a Copenhagen-based gallery dedicated to rare and significant furniture, objects, and works of art from the early 19th century to the present. With a focus on Nordic design, artist-made furniture, Arts and Crafts, and early modernism, the gallery presents pieces selected for their cultural relevance and craftsmanship, rather than trends. Each object is approached as part of a longer narrative where architecture, art, and furniture intersect. 14furniture works with both historic and contemporary makers, creating exhibitions that encourage slow looking and informed collecting.
