TABLEAU is a Copenhagen-based design studio founded in 2018 by Julius Værnes Iversen. Operating at the intersection of art and design, the studio works across spatial design, curation, and object creation, bringing together artists and designers to blur boundaries between functional and expressive. Secolo, based in Milan, creates contemporary design rooted in artisanal expertise and high-quality, locally sourced materials. Defined by sculptural forms, refined detailing, and functional elegance, all pieces are 100% made in Italy.
At 3daysofdesign, TABLEAU and Secolo present a collaborative collection where intuition meets craftsmanship. Some pieces are inspired by Julius Værnes Iversen’s blind drawings of flowers - sketches made without looking, capturing movement, gesture, and emotion. These drawings inform shapes, textures, and surfaces, while other works, like sculptural furniture, translate the collaboration’s ideas into tangible, inhabitable forms. Arranged within a curated spatial environment, the exhibition invites visitors to explore design as a sensory and emotional experience, where instinctive gestures take shape in material form.
