The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

MANU builds object-to-human relationships. Their objects are all ‘characters’ to live alongside — not bought and sold, but adopted. Working across waste streams, the material becomes both the starting point and the guide, allowing its limitations to shape the design of each object. For 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s District Kultur, inviting visitors to explore two graduation showcases by emerging Nordic voices across disciplines. This semester’s final exhibitions feature projects from Design & Ceramics and Architecture & Arts—two distinct yet connected expressions of artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcases highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. DIAMA is a textile brand of home linens engaged in fair development, respectful of the environment. Most of DIAMA products are made of organic hand-spun rain-cotton, dyed with plant extracts.The collection is entirely handwoven in RABALMA workshop, located in the suburbs of Dakar in Senegal, and organised by a group of weavers and dyers crafts people who obtained ECOCERT GOTS certification. RABALMA is linked by a support and sponsorship agreement, to an association of women spinners in the cotton-growing region. Traceability is guaranteed from fiber to finished product. Priority is given to local organic cotton and traditional know-how by creating beautiful products with contemporary design.

St. Leo designs and produces three collections: Dolomite Plaster offers 16 pre-mixed interior plasters crafted from crushed stone and recycled ash for a variety of elegant textures; Original Pigments paint comprises 100 rich colours in four finishes; and Marble Paint merges the tactility of plaster with the deep colour profiles of paint.

Studio KO’s Scandinavian debut is a visionary Vipp guesthouse for Copenhagen’s 3daysofdesign. In an unexpected rendez–vous between refinement and roughness, Vipp has invited Marrakesh and Paris–based architecture practice Studio KO to design an ephemeral guesthouse during Copenhagen’s design festival, 3daysofdesign. Studio KO unveils their interpretation of a Vipp guesthouse responding to the Danish brand's growing portfolio of significant properties in spectacular settings around the world, from Puglia to Tasmania and Todos Santos. Studio KO has crafted a scenography that captures a tension between opposites. The project will feature bespoke iterations of Vipp’s iconic designs all reimagined through their singular lens.

With experience and passion in working with solid wood, ZEITRAUM stands for a modern, reduced design language and sustainable approach. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high-quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.

Gabriella Mozo’s inspiration stems from a diverse apparel design background, honed through more than a decade of experience in both New York and LA. This creative journey led to a transition into the realm of product and furniture design, prompted by a move to Milan in 2022, where she is now based. Through a deep curiosity and exploration of potential waste materials, the designer has developed an alternative 'concrete' incorporating post–industrial wool remnants from textile and rug brands like Manteco and cc—tapis. The resulting material balances the rigidity of a porous stone with a uniquely soft and hairy tactility.

Paper Collective is the original Copenhagen curator of modern art prints. Since 2013 they have collaborated with artists, architects, designers and brands to create collections of original artworks and art solutions, all at a great price. Closely linked with the design industry from their foundation, Paper Collective collaborates with some of the industry's biggest talents including Alfredo Häberli, Norm Architects and Studiopepe, to create artwork that provides that finishing touch within contemporary interiors. Proudly produced in–house in Denmark, their collection ranges from ready to print solutions to custom framing, acoustic products and complete curatorial services allowing designers to create their ultimate immersive environments.
