Matre is a Norwegian furniture and design brand committed to reviving Norway’s rich design heritage through timeless, high–quality pieces made to be cherished for generations. Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Fornace Brioni was founded in 1920, following the acquisition of the so-called “Fornacione” (according to certain documents still stands on its original location of 1883). The family-run company is now in its fourth generation, headed by Alessio and Alberto Brioni, who are planning the future of cotto maintaining their strong link with the past. Fornace Brioni is a leader in the renovation of old flooring, and has over the years carried out constant research on the potential of this material that produces in several versions, ranging from uniform and variegated cotto to glazed versions.
