The New Comfort Products is a small company based in the North of Norway, on the coast of Helgeland. The company produces chairs in recycled plastic made of waste form the aquaculture industry in the region, typically ropes. This gives the products not only first class and lasting quality, but primarily makes them environmentally sustainable. The product are designed mostly by well known designers like “Snøhetta” but also by local up-and-coming young designer for the same region. This gives the product range an wide variety and along with the production process an opportunity to produce an range of unique chairs. Some of the chairs can be delivered in at truly one-of-a-kind colour pallet which neither will or can be copied.

The Icelandic Embassy in Denmark teams up with the Iceland Design and Architecture center, producer of the DesignMarch festival and Business Iceland to present two different exhibitions showcasing the diversity of Icelandic design. For over 100 years, GRYTHYTTAN has combined Swedish craftsmanship with Scandinavian design.
