Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.

The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, presenting exclusive design brands and their latest novelties in an inspiring and relevant setting. The Odd Fellow Palace once again forms the backdrop for FRAMING, with all three floors of the impressive Rococo building from the mid–18th century, including its two wings, offering both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces for national and international brands alike.
