Trained as an architect, Finn Juhl approached furniture as an artistic discipline rather than a purely functional task. His work challenged established ideas of construction and use, introducing sculptural forms and a clear sense of proportion that helped shape Danish modernism. For more than two decades, House of Finn Juhl has held the exclusive rights to revive and produce Finn Juhl’s furniture designs, working to preserve the intent and principles behind his work—an approach that continues to resonate across generations.
The Quiet Power of Patina—Aged Originals on Display. Step into the House of Finn Juhl showroom to experience this year’s dramatic installation—a homage to furniture that stands the test of time. Instead of novelty or relaunches, the exhibition highlights original, aged Finn Juhl pieces—crafted by us and lent by private collectors—now rich with patina and history. It’s a rare chance to see how quality craftsmanship deepens over time, gaining character through years of use. The pieces will be displayed within a custom–built wooden structure, designed on site to enhance transparency and allow the furniture to be viewed from all angles.
