FRAMING returns for its sixth edition during 3daysofdesign, showcasing over 40 exclusive design brands and their latest innovations in a stunning setting. Established in 2017, Fischersund is a family–run art collective and niche perfumery based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Founded by four siblings—Inga, Jónsi, Sigurrós, and Lilja—the brand serves as a creative platform using scent, visual arts and music. Sensorial design and storytelling are used to create immersive experiences including unique perfumes, scented concerts and exhibitions. Music is used to tell the story of scent. Like perfume is composed of olfactory notes, the sounds of Fischersund are carefully crafted to create an atmosphere that transports the listener to Iceland. Together, Jónsi (of Sigur Rós), Sindri and Kjartan have composed 30 pieces of music that reflect the ethereal fragrances and bring the brand to life through sound.

Orla Culligan creates unique slip cast ceramics for the home in Clonakilty, Cork. She strives to provide high–quality products that bring joy to the owner’s home while keeping her business sustainable by minimising waste and maintaining a low environmental impact. The original inspiration for her work comes from discovering 'rubbish' washed up on the beaches where she grew up in East Cork. As she walks along the beach, flotsam and jetsam become tangled among the seaweed, their bright synthetic man–made colours standing out. Upon closer scrutiny, these objects reveal a gorgeous range of textures where the sea has intervened; seams and edges have softened, yet evidence of the making process and the machine still remains.

In an unexpected rendez–vous between refinement and roughness, Vipp has invited Marrakesh and Paris–based architecture practice Studio KO to design an ephemeral guesthouse during Copenhagen’s design festival, 3daysofdesign. Studio KO unveils their interpretation of a Vipp guesthouse responding to the Danish brand's growing portfolio of significant properties in spectacular settings around the world, from Puglia to Tasmania and Todos Santos.
