Un'common is a polish design studio which creates furniture from finest materials such as marble, wood and steel. Yet the heart of the brand is stone. The founders believe that furniture should not only be well-designed – it should be a feast for the senses. Nothing can produce this effect quite as good as marble. It is a beautiful, refined, natural material that has been used for centuries in architecture, art and everyday life. During 3daysofdesign Un'common is going to present new BLOCK series latest exploration of contrast and harmony in design by brand. Rooted in the philosophy of balance, new pieces blend the raw, timeless elegance of marble with the warm sophistication of wood.

Once again, Un’common pushes the boundaries of working with natural stone. Breaking away from the conventional perception of stone as flawlessly polished and finished with classic bevels, the brand embraces its raw, imperfect beauty. Uneven and unrefined surfaces speak to the true origin of the material – grounding us in its natural, tactile essence. This new collection invites stone to engage the senses. With subtle textures and sculptural forms, each piece is designed not only to complement everyday rituals but to become part of them. Join the Un’common team and experience this new series at the DESIGN / DIALOGUE exhibition curated by Ark Journal, held at Pakhus 11, Copenhagen.

Finished in white gloss, soft matte, or bronze glazes, Atlast offers a refined, tactile experience, making every meal a moment of understated luxury.

Orla Culligan creates unique slip cast ceramics for the home in Clonakilty, Cork. She strives to provide high–quality products that bring joy to the owner’s home while keeping her business sustainable by minimising waste and maintaining a low environmental impact. The original inspiration for her work comes from discovering 'rubbish' washed up on the beaches where she grew up in East Cork. As she walks along the beach, flotsam and jetsam become tangled among the seaweed, their bright synthetic man–made colours standing out. Upon closer scrutiny, these objects reveal a gorgeous range of textures where the sea has intervened; seams and edges have softened, yet evidence of the making process and the machine still remains.
