Founded in 1874, the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen creates products that encompass the duality of design and light. Every detail in the design has a purpose. A–N–D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer where original collections are conceptualised, built, and assembled in–house. The name A–N–D is derived from 'A New Detail.' The studio explores new design possibilities through innovative production methods and by integrating the latest lighting technologies. In pursuit of the visually poetic, A–N–D is inspired by the unexpected and the everyday—compelled by light’s ability to shape and animate space.
