Founded in 2018, the curtain studio &Drape creates atmosphere and well-being through made-to-measure curtains in private and professional spaces. With background in design and roots in an old curtain family, &Drape represents a contemporary and curated aesthetic approach to made-to-measure curtains. The founders Julie Vendal & Nadia Al Zagir Balling and their team, customize each curtain styling solution with care to the specific project, creating curtains that shape atmosphere, spark emotion and enhance the personal identity and spatial experience of a space.

Guided by the philosophy “Flatness is the Point”, Flat Point creates interior pieces that integrate seamlessly with their surroundings. Rather than pursuing variety for its own sake, Flat Point focuses on depth—exploring materials and methods of making with care and precision. Through a balance of aesthetic sensitivity and engineering expertise, the brand shapes its own interpretation of the flat point: discovering quiet, natural moments within restrained beauty.

Based in India, the studio is rooted in ancient wisdom, where sustainability and care are integral to everyday living. Working closely with local artisans and locally sourced wood, the furniture draws from South Asian traditions of sitting and spatial setting. Naturally seasoned, aged trees—crafted without nails or screws—form the core language of the work. A life–centred approach ensures no harmful disruptors enter the environment, protecting everyone from maker to end user. Continually pushing the boundaries of furniture typology, the studio explores Indian minimalism while revisiting traditional skills through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that hold space and life in equal measure.
