With deep respect for design and acknowledging the urgent need for a circular transformation, FÓLK creates objects and furniture that enable the circularity of materials. Some of FÓLKs circular designs—such as The Airbag and The Lava Vase—have already become modern design icons, expressing how one’s waste can become another’s treasure. FÓLK explores new circular systems and develops designs from materials that are discarded, disregarded or leftover and through that journey aspires to facilitate people and companies to create more responsible interior solutions.

Founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti with the vision of creating and curating timeless design objects with an innovative approach and environmental awareness. Since its foundation in 1911, the family–owned company Fredericia has proudly built a strong tradition of beautiful craftsmanship and innovative design, developed in close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised names. Legendary designers such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today.
