Astrid was launched in 2003, founded on Anna Boustedt’s genuine love for textiles. This passion continues to guide everything the company does. Her vision, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail have helped establish Astrid as a small but significant player. The company is based in Stockholm and has longstanding collaborations with the most skilled textile mills in Europe. Astrid offers fabrics for curtains, furniture and accessories, and although the company’s primary target market is architects and designers, and the team has extensive knowledge of dealing with public spaces, the textiles are perfectly suited to a wide variety of settings. Quality is a matter of course for Astrid, and visual appeal is absolutely vital.

Grythyttan Stålmöbler is one of Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturers, with a long tradition of craftsmanship and Scandinavian design. For more than a century, the furniture has been handcrafted in Grythyttan using carefully selected wood and spring steel. This unique combination makes the chairs and tables exceptionally durable and weather-resistant, designed to last for generations. The characteristic gentle rocking motion of the chairs is created by the carefully shaped spring steel frame—a detail that still requires skilled craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, Grythyttan Stålmöbler presents Bovik, a new addition that reflects its heritage while introducing a contemporary expression to outdoor living.

Studio ByHAA is an architectural design studio working in the intersection of craft, design, architecture and landscape. Our interior designs are handcrafted i Egypt through a dialogue with the local artisans and the Danish designers. We create from an understanding that all things and scales are connected. For us, design begins with the land, its textures, its rhythms, and the hands of the people who shape it. Our practice is about bringing the outside in, both literally and spiritually, by building spaces and creating objects that create a sense of belonging. We believe that the handmade has a capacity to reconnect people with the land, with nature, with a tangible time perspective from where we can feel ourselves at ease.

Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years.
This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.
