MUKAKASA is a lifestyle brand rooted in AfriScandi design—blending Scandinavian minimalism with the rich craftsmanship of Uganda. Founded by sisters Christine Mukakasa and Elizabeth Okafor, the brand redefines modern luxury through culturally expressive, homeware crafted from natural Ugandan clay. MUKAKASA’s collections are a response to the need to enrich our living spaces, offering timeless pieces that are both functional and sustainable. ATELIER matic is a Japanese design studio founded by Sho Sotoyama in 2012. While designing stores and spaces, the studio creates products based on the concept of what can be truly enjoyed and comfortably integrated into daily life. Specialising in the fusion of natural and artificial materials, the studio creates objects and applied arts using Japanese domestic stones, wood, acrylics, and more. Additionally, original terrazzo materials are developed and used to produce furniture and art pieces.
