Something is stirring, bringing something rare to the world—bold, unfiltered, and full of life, like a child proudly sharing their first drawings, unafraid and full of wonder, where ideas come to life, forms take shape, and Darouge is born.

Gabriella Mozo’s inspiration stems from a diverse apparel design background, honed through more than a decade of experience in both New York and LA. This creative journey led to a transition into the realm of product and furniture design, prompted by a move to Milan in 2022, where she is now based. Through a deep curiosity and exploration of potential waste materials, the designer has developed an alternative 'concrete' incorporating post–industrial wool remnants from textile and rug brands like Manteco and cc—tapis. The resulting material balances the rigidity of a porous stone with a uniquely soft and hairy tactility.
