With its HQ and production site in southern Denmark, Dinesen is known for bespoke wooden floors and surfaces, made from carefully selected trees from responsibly managed Western European forests. Trained as an architect, Finn Juhl approached furniture as an artistic discipline rather than a purely functional task. His work challenged established ideas of construction and use, introducing sculptural forms and a clear sense of proportion that helped shape Danish modernism. For more than two decades, House of Finn Juhl has held the exclusive rights to revive and produce Finn Juhl’s furniture designs, working to preserve the intent and principles behind his work—an approach that continues to resonate across generations.
