Step into the world of 101 Copenhagen at 3daysofdesign—an extraordinary exhibition unveiling bold new creations shaped by the timeless philosophy of umami and the artful pursuit of balance. From striking material contrasts to the serene beauty of clean, sculptural lines, each piece is designed to captivate the eye and invite stillness into every space. This year, 101 Copenhagen opens the doors to an entirely new showroom—now offering three immersive floors dedicated to design, discovery, and inspiration. Attendees are invited to join the celebration of design, inspiration, and connection for three unforgettable days.

Mikkel Nielsen is a Copenhagen–based design studio producing architectural lamps through 3D printing in bioplast. Each lamp is designed and produced in Copenhagen in small, limited series. The collection is defined by a clear formal logic: a single organic element repeated twelve times to form a balanced circular composition, creating a strong and recognisable identity. Production is intentionally kept small, allowing close control of material, surface, colour and light quality. The studio focuses on durability and long–term relevance rather than trends. At 3daysofdesign, the SSPL lamp is presented in 20 new colours.

Horreds designs, manufactures, and sells office and meeting furniture built on enduring values. TAMEKO is a Copenhagen–based textile brand rooted in a deep appreciation for honest materials, quiet luxury, and Scandinavian sensibilities. Founded by Dominika Leveau and Chim Scavenius Sonne–Schmidt, the brand was created with a singular aim: to craft textiles that elevate everyday life through tactility, simplicity, and longevity. Guided by both past traditions—when linens were treasured heirlooms—and contemporary aesthetics, TAMEKO designs pieces meant not only to last, but to live with. Nosou is a contemporary Japanese design brand rooted in natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Guided by the theme 'Time Makes Beauty,' they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wabi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.

A–POC, the acronym of 'A Piece Of Cloth', is the name of the integrated design and manufacturing system first introduced in Paris by Issey Miyake in 1998. A–POC revolutionised the process of clothes–making with its innovative concept of a streamlined, all–in–one operation, in which all the parts of the clothing are pre–woven into a single piece of cloth. Launched in 2021, A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE aims to realise the infinite potential of the A–POC system with society in mind—hence the name 'ABLE'. The brand’s designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae and his team of engineers value the dialogue between creator and wearer, as they engage with different professions and industries to further explore new possibilities in design and making.
