This year, 101 Copenhagen opens the doors to an entirely new showroom—now offering three immersive floors dedicated to design, discovery, and inspiration. Based in Amsterdam, Formosus Home places these masterful skills on a global stage, creating a dialogue between Eastern heritage and Western design sensibilities. Its furniture is designed to reveal its character quietly over time rather than demand attention. By prioritising solid wood and natural materials, each piece is inherently repairable, making recycling a distant last resort.

Marta is a Los Angeles–based, globally–engaged gallery for art and design. Founded by partners and designers Benjamin Critton and Heidi Korsavong in 2019, the gallery makes space for artists to experiment with the utility of design, and for designers to explore the abandonment of function. Marta’s curatorial and publication programs take interest in the process and facilitators of a work’s creation as well as the narrative of its creator(s). Marta embraces the intersection of and the transition between disciplines, advocates for diversity in design, and promotes broad access to the arts.

Over the years, it has operated as an OEM manufacturer for numerous leading furniture brands and continues to do so. The recent physical inauguration of its showroom on Grønningen in Central Copenhagen provides an excellent opportunity to introduce our their designs, grounded in its core principles. At NORDST, every design is seen as a challenge to be overcome through resilience and innovation. The company maintains its own production facilities in both Asia and Europe, ensuring that all designs are developed in-house without compromising quality.The primary material used in designs is natural stones in all shapes.
