Step into the world of 101 Copenhagen at 3daysofdesign—an extraordinary exhibition unveiling bold new creations shaped by the timeless philosophy of umami and the artful pursuit of balance. From striking material contrasts to the serene beauty of clean, sculptural lines, each piece is designed to captivate the eye and invite stillness into every space. This year, 101 Copenhagen opens the doors to an entirely new showroom—now offering three immersive floors dedicated to design, discovery, and inspiration. Attendees are invited to join the celebration of design, inspiration, and connection for three unforgettable days.

Örsjö is founded on simple values and strong convictions, dedicated to developing and handcrafting premium lighting in its local factory with the sincere ambition of leaving the best possible mark on the planet. Handcrafted objects carry an intangible sense of human touch and warmth—a connection between creator and user that is often lost in industrial production. For this reason, craftsmanship lies at the heart of Örsjö’s work, with local artisans involved across the entire product range. Welding, soldering, bending, polishing, painting, assembling, glass blowing, and leather carving all take place either in Örsjö’s own factory or in trusted workshops within the region. Ultimately, Örsjö strives to create products designed to outlast their makers and contribute positively to the world.

Based in India, the studio is rooted in ancient wisdom, where sustainability and care are integral to everyday living. Working closely with local artisans and locally sourced wood, the furniture draws from South Asian traditions of sitting and spatial setting. Naturally seasoned, aged trees—crafted without nails or screws—form the core language of the work. A life–centred approach ensures no harmful disruptors enter the environment, protecting everyone from maker to end user. Continually pushing the boundaries of furniture typology, the studio explores Indian minimalism while revisiting traditional skills through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that hold space and life in equal measure.

The Dutch brand Fatboy redefines the boundaries of everyday design. Scandinavian Design Embassy is an initiative aimed at promoting Nordic design companies internationally at Nordic Embassies around the world. It brings together key organisations including the Finnish Design Embassy, Norwegian Design Industry, the Swedish Institute and Svensk Form. Through this partnership, they strengthen the innovative and sustainable design principles that define the Nordic countries. Building on the success of the Finnish Design Embassy initiative, which has been active since 2022, this project has extended the concept to neighbouring countries for an even stronger presence around the world.

Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

Damixa is rooted in Danish design and creates refined, built–to–last kitchen and bathroom tap–ware. Part of FM Mattsson Denmark, the brand has delivered tap–ware since 1932. The focus is on clean forms, precise proportions, durable finishes and responsible water use, with solutions designed to help reduce water and energy consumption without compromising comfort. The range is developed with project specification in mind, offering a coherent design language across spaces and applications. At 3daysofdesign, Damixa presents aesthetic collections of taps, showers and accessories for indoor and outdoor settings, made for architect–led projects and long–term visual appeal.
