Step into the world of 101 Copenhagen at 3daysofdesign—an extraordinary exhibition unveiling bold new creations inspired by the quiet resonance found within nature—the way colours soften under sunlight, how stone and wood becomes textured through time, and how natural materials carry depth, warmth, and memory within them. Again, this year 101 Copenhagen opens the doors to their showroom offering three immersive floors dedicated to design, discovery, and inspiration. Attendees are invited to join the celebration of design, inspiration, and connection for three unforgettable days.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

Davidpompa is a Mexican lighting studio focused on materiality, research and craftsmanship, creating collections that explore the beauty of raw materials. Founded by designer David Pompa, the studio collaborates with artisans across Mexico, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design language. The work is rooted in respect for material and process, where each piece reflects heritage and refined design. Materials such as clay, stone and metal are central to the collections, shaped through skilled craftsmanship and ongoing material exploration. Davidpompa creates lighting that is tactile and atmospheric, balancing precision with a strong connection to material and making, resulting in objects that feel timeless and refined.
