Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, with architect Børge Mogensen heading up the studio. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: To create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. For over 100 years, GRYTHYTTAN has combined Swedish craftsmanship with Scandinavian design. The furniture is still made by hand from wood and steel in Grythyttan, making the chairs and tables extremely weather-resistant and ensure they last decade after decade. The characteristic rocking mechanism of the chairs is created by the special spring steel frame, also requires human craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, discover the new additions to the iconic A2 series, which has been an integral part of Swedish gardens since the 1930. LIBELLE launched in 2023 has been given a new colour spectrum for 2024. It’s a modern design by award-winning Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik with a slim, welded construction giving the design a slender urban silhouette.
