'Framing Compositions' marks a new chapter for Carl Hansen & Søn at our flagship store on Bredgade 33—a space steeped in history and craftsmanship. This exhibition invites you to explore a curated interplay of past and present, where iconic designs engage in seamless dialogue with contemporary pieces. Through thoughtfully composed settings, 'Framing Compositions' highlights the versatility of our furniture across eras, demonstrating how heritage craftsmanship and modern sensibilities complement one another. As you walk through the exhibition, experience each composition from multiple angles, and discover how form, material, and tradition unite in a dynamic yet timeless expression. NORDICMODERN presents the woven rugs of Danish textile artist Vibeke Klint (1927–2019), reissued in collaboration with her family. Klint approached textiles as part of the interior - working with proportion, rhythm and colour to create calm foundations rather than décor. Her rugs were made to be lived with and walked on, and to age naturally over time. All rugs are handwoven using her original designs and techniques, continuing a Danish modern textile tradition in a contemporary context. During 3daysofdesign the collection is shown in a spatial setting where material and colour can be experienced up close. Vibeke Klint's rugs can modernise a traditional room and add character and balance to a minimalist interior.
