Carl Hansen & Søn represents more than 115 years of Danish furniture history infused with respect and passion for artisanal craftsmanship. The world's largest manufacturer of designs by Hans J. Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. Proudly crafted in Denmark.

'Balanced Principles' unfolds a refined exploration of what defines enduring design. At the Bredgade flagship store, visitors can experience the dialogue between heritage design and new creations—rooted in a thoughtful balance of material, form and function. Alongside presenting new works by Fabricius Kastholm and Øivind Slaatto, the exhibition reflects on Hans J. Wegner’s enduring approach to craftsmanship. An engaging workshop hosted by the design studio Mentsen—known for their mesmerising mobiles crafted from surplus wood—also invites visitors to interact during 3daysofdesign. Together, these perspectives illustrate how balance continues to shape meaningful, contemporary design.

The French Embassy in Denmark is located in the Thott Palace, a remarkable 17th century historical building on Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of Copenhagen. The palace has housed the embassy for a century, and has since its origins been a symbol of the strong ties between France and Denmark. All year round, the Embassy opens its doors to the public on the occasion of various cultural events and has showcased French designers as part of 3daysofdesign every year since the festival began. Institut français is the French cultural center in Denmark, and also functions as the French Embassy's cultural department. The institute's mission is to promote French culture, language and research to the Danish public.

Extremis is a Belgian design brand that creates “tools for togetherness.” Founded in 1994 by designer Dirk Wynants, the company develops innovative furniture that supports human interaction and brings people together. Extremis starts from behaviour rather than form, designing functional solutions that reduce friction and make shared moments effortless. The result is a collection of intelligent, versatile designs for outdoor and indoor spaces. Postbyen, Copenhagen’s new urban district, is hosting events and exhibitions during 3daysofdesign. Once the hub of Denmark’s postal system, this historic site was transformed by Danica Ejendomme from an industrial area into a vibrant neighbourhood blending bold architecture with historical buildings. During 3daysofdesign, Postbyen will mark its official opening with a variety of events, including Jeppe Hein’s water sculpture, “Something between us.” Visitors are invited to engage with the artwork and each other, embodying Postbyen’s vision of a welcoming space for all. As the sun sets over the railways, Postbyen is where people come together to share everyday moments and connect in simple, meaningful ways.

Lise Vester Studio is a Copenhagen–based design practice working at the intersection of craft, design and atmosphere. Rooted in principles from healing architecture and neuroaesthetics, the studio explores how materials, light and form can support wellbeing and shift perception. The work spans sculptural lighting, optical objects and spatial installations developed through hands–on experimentation in close collaboration with makers. Each piece is conceived as a sensory tool—inviting pause, reflection and a deeper connection to place and self.
