Carl Hansen & Søn represents more than 115 years of Danish furniture history infused with respect and passion for artisanal craftsmanship. The world's largest manufacturer of designs by Hans J. Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. Proudly crafted in Denmark.

'Balanced Principles' unfolds a refined exploration of what defines enduring design. At the Bredgade flagship store, visitors can experience the dialogue between heritage design and new creations—rooted in a thoughtful balance of material, form and function. Alongside presenting new works by Fabricius Kastholm and Øivind Slaatto, the exhibition reflects on Hans J. Wegner’s enduring approach to craftsmanship. An engaging workshop hosted by the design studio Mentsen—known for their mesmerising mobiles crafted from surplus wood—also invites visitors to interact during 3daysofdesign. Together, these perspectives illustrate how balance continues to shape meaningful, contemporary design.

Rosti is a Danish brand, founded in 1944 by Rolf Fahrenholz and Stig Jørgensen, and known for its functional kitchen utensils, now sold worldwide. The brand’s best–known classic is undoubtedly the Margrethe bowl. This distinctive bowl was of Acton Bjørn and Sigvard Bernadotte and has been produced since the early 1950s. In 1954, it was named after Queen Margrethe II. It is all about making everyday life easier. Form and function go hand in hand in a simple, timeless expression, created by talented Danish designers across generations. Quality is a cornerstone of Rosti’s range. Homo Faber Fellowship is presented by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, a non–profit institution based in Geneva, which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future. The Foundation presents Homo Faber, a cultural movement centred on international master artisans and the next generations of craftspeople. PBJ Designhouse was founded in 1968 and has been Danish–owned ever since. PBJ is known for making modern home furniture inspired by classic Danish design and they now also expands into commercial interiors. As workplaces and hospitality spaces embrace home–like aesthetics, PBJ adapts its classics for lounges, conference rooms, and restaurants. Each piece meets strict sustainability standards, including testing of surfaces, durability and strengths. The result is furniture with idea and identity, form and function, finish and finesse, both for private homes and contract markets.

Lapuan Kankurit is a linen and wool weaving mill based in Lapua, Finland. Their roots go all the way back to 1917, and today the company is led by the fourth generation. Together with top designers and professionals in the weaving industry, they weave sauna and spa textiles as well as wool blankets and other interior textiles from natural raw materials. They carry the responsibility of passing on the craftsmanship of weaving to the future generations. Lapuan Kankurit weaves responsibly, respecting the environment while continuously developing new innovations and techniques. They weave Nordic design, inspired by pure nature. To balance out the chilling climate of the north, they weave heaps of warmth and softness into their textiles.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. From spectacle to substance: if objects can be read, it’s because they have something to say. These are slow–cooked products, crafted to last, designed to be passed down through generations.
