Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. 'Framing Compositions' marks a new chapter for Carl Hansen & Søn at our flagship store on Bredgade 33—a space steeped in history and craftsmanship. This exhibition invites you to explore a curated interplay of past and present, where iconic designs engage in seamless dialogue with contemporary pieces. Through thoughtfully composed settings, 'Framing Compositions' highlights the versatility of our furniture across eras, demonstrating how heritage craftsmanship and modern sensibilities complement one another. Slow Extraction / Dimora Circolare / Wasted / La Mesure. Marco Evaristti is an artist and architect trained in the studio of Professor Henning Larsen. His work operates between art, architecture, and design, examining responsibility and the systems shaping contemporary life. During 3daysofdesign, he presents Slow Extraction at the Odd Fellow Palace. The installation treats furniture as spatial structure—circular forms and cubes creating rhythm and small–scale architecture. Crafted in FSC–certified wood and plant–based textiles, materials remain visible. La Mesure extends the project, focusing on the body as measure and proposing furniture as lived architecture.

Fornace Brioni was founded in 1920, following the acquisition of the so-called “Fornacione” (according to certain documents still stands on its original location of 1883). The family-run company is now in its fourth generation, headed by Alessio and Alberto Brioni, who are planning the future of cotto maintaining their strong link with the past. Fornace Brioni is a leader in the renovation of old flooring, and has over the years carried out constant research on the potential of this material that produces in several versions, ranging from uniform and variegated cotto to glazed versions. The products of Fornace Brioni have been selected by architects all over the world for use in contemporary and timeless interiors.

Koukos de Lab is a material–driven design studio based in Lesvos, Greece, exploring sustainable design through research, experimentation, and local production. The studio develops innovative materials and objects by transforming agricultural by–products into meaningful design resources. At the core of its practice is Koukoutsi, an eco–material made from the final waste of olive oil production, primarily olive cores and pips. Designed as a sustainable alternative to conventional materials, Koukoutsi combines durability, water resistance, and a distinctive tactile quality. Suitable for objects, furniture, and surface applications, it reflects Koukos de Lab’s commitment to circular design and responsible material transformation today, locally.
