Carl Hansen & Søn represents more than 115 years of Danish furniture history infused with respect and passion for artisanal craftsmanship. The world's largest manufacturer of designs by Hans J. Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. Proudly crafted in Denmark.

'Balanced Principles' unfolds a refined exploration of what defines enduring design. At the Bredgade flagship store, visitors can experience the dialogue between heritage design and new creations—rooted in a thoughtful balance of material, form and function. Alongside presenting new works by Fabricius Kastholm and Øivind Slaatto, the exhibition reflects on Hans J. Wegner’s enduring approach to craftsmanship. An engaging workshop hosted by the design studio Mentsen—known for their mesmerising mobiles crafted from surplus wood—also invites visitors to interact during 3daysofdesign. Together, these perspectives illustrate how balance continues to shape meaningful, contemporary design.

Origin Made is a Porto-based craft-focused design brand founded in 2019 by Gabriel Tan and Cherie Er, built on the belief that meaningful objects emerge from direct dialogue between designers and makers. Pairing international designers with craftspeople from Iberia and beyond, the brand develops contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, and collectible objects that celebrate regional craft traditions. Each piece is shaped as much by the hands that make it as by the concept behind it, a process that values collaborative contemplation, material honesty, and the irreplaceable knowledge held by skilled craftspeople. MANO design studio is a Seoul-based studio founded in 2016 by Bo Ah Kim. With a background in interior design in Korea and further studies in Product Design in Milan, Kim develops work at the intersection of traditional Korean craft and contemporary design. Her practice focuses on lighting and objects made from Hanji traditional Korean paper hand-pressed from mulberry bark. Each piece is made by hand: cutting, folding, and stitching to draw out the quiet dialogue between light and material. At the heart of her work is the act of stitching itself. Each stitch is not decorative, but a record of time, attention, and the steady rhythm of the hand. The work holds what cannot be seen: the duration and care inscribed into every mark.
