Carl Hansen & Søn represents more than 115 years of Danish furniture history infused with respect and passion for artisanal craftsmanship. The world's largest manufacturer of designs by Hans J. Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. Proudly crafted in Denmark.

'Balanced Principles' unfolds a refined exploration of what defines enduring design. At the Bredgade flagship store, visitors can experience the dialogue between heritage design and new creations—rooted in a thoughtful balance of material, form and function. Alongside presenting new works by Fabricius Kastholm and Øivind Slaatto, the exhibition reflects on Hans J. Wegner’s enduring approach to craftsmanship. An engaging workshop hosted by the design studio Mentsen—known for their mesmerising mobiles crafted from surplus wood—also invites visitors to interact during 3daysofdesign. Together, these perspectives illustrate how balance continues to shape meaningful, contemporary design.

Where Nordic design meets traditional African craftsmanship, Mifuko creates timeless baskets and decorative pieces with purpose and lasting impact. Founded in 2009 by Mari Martikainen and Minna Impiö, Mifuko is a Finnish design brand known for its timeless design and strong social commitment. Each product is handwoven by over 1.300 women artisans in Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana using traditional techniques. Every item is signed by its maker, ensuring transparency and traceability. Tōseibo is a Copenhagen–based ceramic studio that specialises in handcrafted tea and coffee ware, flower and incense vessels. All the ceramic works are designed to facilitate beauty in daily rituals through practical functionality. Behind the studio is Longfei Tōsei Wang, a Chinese–born Danish multi–artist. Shaped by years of experience in classical music and visual storytelling, his work bridges East Asian traditions and Scandinavian aesthetics. Through ceramics, he continues to expand into the worlds of art, product design, and architectural expression.

Founded in 2021, DEORON is an independent curatorial platform positioned at the crossroads of design, research, and lifestyle culture. Through its webshop and ongoing daily research, it encourages a slower, more deliberate approach to discovering objects, cultivating a community of creatives who prioritize meaning, intention, and craftsmanship over mass production. Originally conceived as a digital-first project to rethink how design is experienced and accessed, DEORON has since expanded into the physical realm. Following the success of its debut and second MDW 26 edition which featured +70 designers, across collectible and industrial design pieces from emerging brands and established firms.

SPACES WITHIN creates sculptural hardware designed as jewellery for spaces. Conceived in Stockholm and crafted in Florence, the collection explores themes of refinement, elegance, and poetic expression through distinctive forms and tactile finishes. Each piece is crafted from solid recycled brass at a second–generation foundry in Florence, where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Intended to be composed freely, the hardware brings subtle elegance, character, and renewed energy to interiors.

Fantoni Group specialises in the manufacture of office furniture, partition walls, sound–absorbent systems, MDF, chipboard and laminates. With the support of the Groups’ network of companies, which work synergistically for the integrated development of its products, Fantoni performs all stages of the production process in–house and, thanks to its eight hydroelectric power plants, five cogeneration plants and two photovoltaic systems, it contributes significantly to its own energy requirements and implements a system designed to constantly improve its performance. Having received the Compasso d’Oro award for lifetime achievement in 1998 from ADI, Fantoni Group has become a reference point due to the intense activity of its Research Centre.
