The brand’s mission is to revive Taiwan’s endangered woodworking heritage, merge it with modern design, and share exceptional furniture with the world. Based in Amsterdam, Formosus Home places these masterful skills on a global stage, creating a dialogue between Eastern heritage and Western design sensibilities. Its furniture is designed to reveal its character quietly over time rather than demand attention. By prioritising solid wood and natural materials, each piece is inherently repairable, making recycling a distant last resort.

Matre is a Norwegian furniture and design brand committed to reviving Norway’s rich design heritage through timeless, high–quality pieces made to be cherished for generations. Founded in 2023 by Elizabeth Matre–Aas and Ole Kristian Bergsjø Aas, the brand collaborates with esteemed designers and the historic Vatne factory to produce both rediscovered and contemporary design classics entirely in Norway. All materials are traceable to their origin, and Matre holds the “Made in Norway” quality label. Signature striped textiles, developed with Innvik and designer Saga Nilsson, give the collection a distinctive identity.

The studio’s entirely human, hands-on process results in organic, wabi–sabi–inspired creations that cannot be replicated by mass production. The collections are featured in high–end restaurants, luxury hotels, and yachts and are available at the showroom, select boutiques worldwide, and the studio’s online shop.
