BY EVE, founded by designer Sandra Peters, explores light through the purity of mouth-blown glass and timeless form. Each lamp is individually crafted, giving every piece a unique presence. Defined by organic shapes and refined simplicity, the collection combines glass with materials such as wood and metal to create balanced, atmospheric lighting. Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.

New Light Pottery is a lighting manufacturer based in the ancient former Japanese capital of Nara. Founded in 2015 by designers Hiroyuki Nagatomi and Chizu Nara, the company creates understated designs that highlight the textures and natural beauty of brass, glass, ceramic and traditional Japanese washi paper. Each lamp is handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans. Supporting Japanese craftsmanship and the artisans who keep these traditions alive has been central to New Light Pottery’s mission from the very beginning. Keeping production in Japan also allows for minor adjustments, special orders and unique finishes.

Swiss based USM Modular Furniture has been providing timeless and high–quality modular furniture designs suitable for both home and office environments for 60 years. Recognised as a design classic, USM Modular Furniture was formally accepted into the permanent Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), confirming the artistic character of the product. Created from a few basic elements, the company’s furniture offers tailor–made solutions that can be expanded or reconfigured as needed. Each furniture piece allows room for maximum versatility and creativity. To encourage long–term use, all of the USM product lines are made from high–quality materials for strength and durability to last for generations.

The company has its production in Durup, Denmark and a showroom in the beautiful surroundings of Marmorkirken in Copenhagen.
