'Framing Compositions' marks a new chapter for Carl Hansen & Søn at our flagship store on Bredgade 33—a space steeped in history and craftsmanship. This exhibition invites you to explore a curated interplay of past and present, where iconic designs engage in seamless dialogue with contemporary pieces. Through thoughtfully composed settings, 'Framing Compositions' highlights the versatility of our furniture across eras, demonstrating how heritage craftsmanship and modern sensibilities complement one another. Sausset Leou is an architecture studio born from the affinity of its founders, grounded in a poetic, vernacular, and radical approach to spatial design. During their architectural studies at ENSA Paris Val de Seine, Kim and Rémy worked together on alternative design projects through shared studio workshops. Sausset Leou asserts a rigorous sensibility and a precise sense of poetry. Their approach combines formal rigour with narrative freedom, rejecting hierarchies between building typologies. Each project is conceived as a sensitive reinterpretation of the history of places and people. The aim is to make beauty accessible to everyone, without distinction.

Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.
