Carl Hansen & Søn represents more than 115 years of Danish furniture history infused with respect and passion for artisanal craftsmanship. The world's largest manufacturer of designs by Hans J. Wegner, the collection of Carl Hansen & Søn also includes works by renowned design masters such as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen, Ole Wanscher, and Børge Mogensen. Proudly crafted in Denmark.

'Balanced Principles' unfolds a refined exploration of what defines enduring design. At the Bredgade flagship store, visitors can experience the dialogue between heritage design and new creations—rooted in a thoughtful balance of material, form and function. Alongside presenting new works by Fabricius Kastholm and Øivind Slaatto, the exhibition reflects on Hans J. Wegner’s enduring approach to craftsmanship. An engaging workshop hosted by the design studio Mentsen—known for their mesmerising mobiles crafted from surplus wood—also invites visitors to interact during 3daysofdesign. Together, these perspectives illustrate how balance continues to shape meaningful, contemporary design.

BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE is a Japanese furniture brand based in Hokkaido, Japan, creating furniture from valuable wood that has lost its place in the market due to irregular grain, color variations, or other characteristics often overlooked by conventional standards. Through traditional Japanese joinery, architectural thinking, and careful craftsmanship, these materials are given a new purpose and a longer future. Høstbo is a Copenhagen–based gallery dedicated to contemporary design at the intersection of objects, space, and lived experience. Conceived as more than a showroom, it operates as a platform for spatial exploration, where design is understood in relation to architecture, context, and use. Founded by Marie–Louise Høstbo, the gallery reflects more than three decades of experience across design and spatial practice. Her curatorial approach is grounded in clarity, material intelligence, and relevance, selecting objects not only for their individual qualities, but for their role in a larger spatial narrative. Where Nordic design meets traditional African craftsmanship, Mifuko creates timeless baskets and decorative pieces with purpose and lasting impact. Founded in 2009 by Mari Martikainen and Minna Impiö, Mifuko is a Finnish design brand known for its timeless design and strong social commitment. Each product is handwoven by over 1.300 women artisans in Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana using traditional techniques. Every item is signed by its maker, ensuring transparency and traceability. As a Certified B Corporation and WFTO member, Mifuko supports long–term partnerships and rural livelihoods.
