Sibast Furniture is a Danish family company with a proud heritage of fine furniture craftsmanship dating back to 1908. Since 2013, the fourth generation has continued the legacy, combining respectful reissues of iconic 1950s designs by Helge Sibast, Arne Vodder, and Piet Hein with new timeless pieces created with contemporary designers like Eistrup, Utzon, Frost, Solberg, Henrik Hvid Hansen, Anna & Ditlev Sibast. Recently, Sibast Furniture expanded with the acquisition of Bent Hansen, adding sculptural comfort and upholstery expertise, including signature designs like the Primum chair. The collection unites heritage, craftsmanship, and modern design for homes, hotels, and global projects, built to be passed on to future generations.

During 3daysofdesign, Sibast Furniture opens the doors to their new showroom in Copenhagen. Transformed into a curated exhibition of new perspectives on timeless pieces—showcasing novelties.

Founded in 2021, DEORON is an independent curatorial platform positioned at the crossroads of design, research, and lifestyle culture. Through its webshop and ongoing daily research, it encourages a slower, more deliberate approach to discovering objects, cultivating a community of creatives who prioritize meaning, intention, and craftsmanship over mass production. Originally conceived as a digital-first project to rethink how design is experienced and accessed, DEORON has since expanded into the physical realm. Following the success of its debut and second MDW 26 edition which featured +70 designers, across collectible and industrial design pieces from emerging brands and established firms.

An installation by Imogen Kwok featuring KØGE, and MARLOT BAUS curated by Noura Residency. Craftsmanship, design, and cuisine are brought together not as separate disciplines, but as a singular living exhibition. In this collaboration, the boundaries between the permanent and the ephemeral are blurred. Here, the table sits in that suspended pause after making and before eating. It is a scene of organic materials that have been handled, and are waiting to be undone: Fat, powder, fruit, sugar. Cone, oval, sphere, leaf. This installation investigates the exact point at which we begin giving meaning to objects and the materials that make them.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.

Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. ReCraft Design Studio is a Copenhagen-based practice working with reclaimed materials, including demolition waste and production offcuts, to create architectural elements and spatial interventions. Through hands-on experimentation and material research, the studio explores how existing resources can be reintroduced into contemporary design. Focusing on irregular and overlooked materials, ReCraft reveals the inherent qualities of what is already in circulation, extending its life while opening up new possibilities for use. Rather than concealing a materials history, the studio embraces it, allowing surfaces and traces of previous lives to inform new architectural applications.
