LyZadie Design Studio
LyZadie Design Studio is an ethical luxury furniture, lighting and object brand founded in 2018 by archidesigner Lyzadie Renault and based in New Zealand. LyZadie Design Studio draws on values, symbols and traditions of New Zealand and the Asia Pacific that imbue their timeless and unique furniture, lighting and objects with a deeper meaning beyond aesthetics and functionality, blurring the lines between design and art. Rich and meaningful collaborations with creatives, designers and makers are part of their DNA. Passionate about sharing stories about their inspirations, about craftsmanship and ethical materials used. Recycled, up–cycled, reclaimed, natural, innovative and rescued are the materials they use in their creations.
LyZadie Design Studio presents The Spirit Of A Land—an exhibition of the fusion of design and art. In this exhibition they are proposing a unique design language that is born from the local inspiration of a land called New Zealand and its culture. They draw on values, symbols and traditions that imbue objects with a deeper meaning beyond aesthetics and functionality. Each object is beautifully designed by Lyzadie Renault and handcrafted by local artisans from ethical materials. The mark of the maker—their skill, their material knowledge and their story, weaved in each creation. Visitors are invited to explore this far away land and feel its essence through the objects exhibited.
