For 3daysofdesign POLSPOTTEN adds play to ILLUM, Copenhagen’s iconic department store. On the 4th floor, visitors can discover the brand’s wide range of heritage products and what’s new for coming Fall, presented in a way only POLSPOTTEN can. Separately, POLSPOTTEN presents a unique collaboration with Rijksmuseum (dropping this October), its long–awaited Festive collection and a sneak peek of SS26. Indulge yourself in POLSPOTTEN’s bold designs and vibrant colours at ILLUM.

POLSPOTTEN brings its creativity to ILLUM, one of Copenhagen’s most iconic and stylish department stores. Located on the 4th floor, the brand presents its vibrant Spring—Summer 2026 collection, featuring bold designs and striking colours. Visitors can explore and shop unique POLSPOTTEN pieces, all while enjoying the exclusive atmosphere ILLUM is known for. POLSPOTTEN is excited about this special collaboration and is ready to add play to space.

Founded by sisters Christine Mukakasa and Elizabeth Okafor, the brand redefines modern luxury through culturally expressive, homeware crafted from natural Ugandan clay. The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

Public Crafts focuses on preserving and reintroducing traditional Japanese materials, which are fading from modern life, through design and spatial composition. The team collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Japan to create handmade products. Additionally, Public Crafts partners with Pure Fabrications, a small atelier based in Copenhagen that creates textiles and clothing entirely by hand in collaboration with its local community. Sharing a common vision, Public Crafts supports Pure Fabrications' efforts to expand the craft community across generations and continents.

Oxdenmarq was founded in 2003. The goal was to produce reasonably priced furniture from exclusive materials like vegetable tanned saddle leather. Making affordable furniture is a core value OX still pursue in everything they do. Before finishing the design studies at the Copenhagen Design University, Dennis Marquart completed a Blacksmith education. Craftsmanship is a key for OX in everything they do. Many OX products are shaped around marble or vegetable tanned saddle leather. Stone and leather are materials that will and should get marks over time but they will also age with a very special beauty. When you learn to appreciate the beauty of maturity and of time passing, you have learned to appreciate patina the way it should be: appreciated.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise.
