Studio KO’s Scandinavian debut is a visionary Vipp guesthouse for Copenhagen’s 3daysofdesign. In an unexpected rendez–vous between refinement and roughness, Vipp has invited Marrakesh and Paris–based architecture practice Studio KO to design an ephemeral guesthouse during Copenhagen’s design festival, 3daysofdesign. Studio KO unveils their interpretation of a Vipp guesthouse responding to the Danish brand's growing portfolio of significant properties in spectacular settings around the world, from Puglia to Tasmania and Todos Santos. Studio KO has crafted a scenography that captures a tension between opposites. The project will feature bespoke iterations of Vipp’s iconic designs all reimagined through their singular lens.

Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus—on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. Their focus is on on the interiors that surround us—how they are built and how they work. “How do we interact in the public space? Has today's society added new demands? Has our way of socialising changed?” To meet today's demands and desires, Blå Station believes it is necessary to have an open and innovative mind, a child's curiosity as well as a heart that rejects shortcuts and apathy. FENIX are the innovative materials created for interior design by Arpa Industriale in 2013. The FENIX family is now an open system that includes both surface materials and interior solutions. Created with proprietary technologies, FENIX makes you experience unique features. At first glance, the surfaces strike for their super–matt appearance. By touching them, you feel how pleasantly soft they are, with the further surprise of leaving no fingerprints. Thermal healing of superficial micro–scratches is also possible. Stories coming from different sides of the world are the inspiration behind FENIX timeless palette. Its surfaces are suitable for furnishing and interior fitting with vertical and horizontal applications.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, Timorous Beasties is a design studio based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons, graduates of The Glasgow School of Art, in 1990. Offering a portfolio of over 500 original designs, the brand focuses on hand and digitally printed fabric and wallpaper, designed in–house. Known for their surreal and provocative wall–coverings and textiles and as an icon of Scottish design, Timorous Beasties’ work embodies a unique diversity of pattern and displays chic irreverence. Timorous Beasties designs are available internationally, with showrooms in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London. The brand has collaborated widely with prominent brands including Johnnie Walker, S.C.P and Ercol.
