Previously the operational focal point of the Royal Danish Navy, Holmen’s renovated shipyards, docks, and workshops have kept remnants of their naval past, defining the ambiance of art galleries, performance spaces, and dockside restaurants. It’s also home to the Copenhagen Opera House and the Royal Danish Academy, a launchpad for the next generation of architects and designers.
