This year during 3daysofdesign +Halle® will display a large selection of new products designed by Spacon, Boris Berlin Design, Nick Ross and Form Us With Love. Making furniture that can meet the needs of public spaces today means creating mindspace for designers, scientists and entrepreneurs with something new to say on the matter. Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, by architect Børge Mogensen. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: to create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. FDB Møbler is internationally known as a frontrunner of Danish design. It’s a story of classic pieces to be passed down from generation to generation. Regardless of whether they are talking about iconic pieces or new, innovative designs, the goal is the same: To have the veritable quality of life that was envisioned when the first pieces of furniture emerged in 1942.

Manufacturing by order, Kjellerup Væveri has been producing upholstery fabrics, curtain textiles, and interior textiles in Kjellerup, Denmark, for an international market since 1950. For more than two decades, House of Finn Juhl has held the exclusive rights to revive and produce Finn Juhl’s furniture designs, working to preserve the intent and principles behind his work—an approach that continues to resonate across generations.

For more than 55 years, FRANDSEN has worked with light and lighting, and that heritage is still the cornerstone. Under the headline ‘In celebration of light’ FRANDSEN's goal is simple: unfold the many functions of good lighting—be it visual, social or sensual, to enrich people’s everyday lives. Through ambitious collaborations with international designers, FRANDSEN aims to further explore the interplay between light, material, and form. A lamp might still be a lamp, but FRANDSEN will perpetually push the boundaries of what’s possible, creating lighting solutions both functional and yet aesthetically pleasing.
