FREITAG makes bags and accessories from used and, increasingly, circular materials. What began in Zurich in 1993 with messenger bags made from discarded truck tarps now comprises around 60 models, every product a one–off. FREITAG products are robust, functional everyday companions that, thanks to a range of repair and exchange services, can expect an even longer, more fulfilling life. The headquarter is in Zurich, where a large part of the truck tarpaulins are disassembled, washed, and cut to size. The company also runs 30 FREITAG Stores worldwide, a Zurich–based Online Store, and its products are available at over 220 retail partners globally.

The concept behind Woodnotes est. 1987 products is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology, to shape beautiful local raw materials. Softness of wool, purity of paper, glow of linen—the company collection represents timeless products of rare aesthetic quality. The unique paper yarn innovation—durable, allergy–friendly designer rugs and blinds made of paper yarn and cotton, are represented together with a selection of outdoor rugs, tufted wool–linen carpets, and atelier–woven cotton–paper yarn and wool–paper yarn rugs, among others.

THE SWISS ATELIER is Switzerland’s official presence at 3daysofdesign, celebrating the country’s innovative and refined approach to design. It takes place in two prime locations in the heart of the festival: THE EMBASSY ATELIER at the Embassy of Switzerland, Store Kongensgade 128, and THE SWISS COFFEE ATELIER at Original Coffee, Store Kongensgade 124, each offering a distinct experience that highlights Swiss creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence. On the occasion of 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s Cultural District, inviting visitors to explore the graduation showcase by emerging Nordic voices. This semester’s final exhibitions feature a project from Design & Ceramics—an artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcase highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. Founded in 1891, Johan Borups' is a Danish ‘højskole’—a creative community based on growth, collab and reflection.
