+Halle® exists to develop a different type of furniture, designed to make a difference to people’s daily lives, helping them focus, work, and relax in new ways. Furniture shaped by human behaviour is furniture shaped by those who use it. The more minds involved, the more evolved the design.

This year during 3daysofdesign +Halle® will display a large selection of new products designed by Spacon, Boris Berlin Design, Nick Ross and Form Us With Love. Making furniture that can meet the needs of public spaces today means creating mindspace for designers, scientists and entrepreneurs with something new to say on the matter. Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
