+Halle® exists to develop a different type of furniture, designed to make a difference to people’s daily lives, helping them focus, work, and relax in new ways. Furniture shaped by human behaviour is furniture shaped by those who use it. The more minds involved, the more evolved the design.

This year during 3daysofdesign +Halle® will display a large selection of new products designed by Spacon, Boris Berlin Design, Nick Ross and Form Us With Love. Making furniture that can meet the needs of public spaces today means creating mindspace for designers, scientists and entrepreneurs with something new to say on the matter. Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

Since its founding in 1960, the company has developed a strong international presence through collaborations with leading designers worldwide. Working with designers who regard simplicity as a method rather than a gesture, the brand develops objects that endure beyond seasonal trends. BAINA is an Antipodean brand of considered bathing essentials, founded in 2019. Distinctly modern and consciously created, the brand’s organic cotton towelling and clean apothecary formulations embrace bathing as an intentional practice—a conscious awakening in preparation for the day ahead, or the slow disconnect of the day that has passed. BAINA offers a gentle reminder to slow down and be present in moments once passed through as part of a routine.

Grythyttan Stålmöbler is one of Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturers, with a long tradition of craftsmanship and Scandinavian design. For more than a century, the furniture has been handcrafted in Grythyttan using carefully selected wood and spring steel. This unique combination makes the chairs and tables exceptionally durable and weather-resistant, designed to last for generations. The characteristic gentle rocking motion of the chairs is created by the carefully shaped spring steel frame—a detail that still requires skilled craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, Grythyttan Stålmöbler presents Bovik, a new addition that reflects its heritage while introducing a contemporary expression to outdoor living.

Bundle Studio is a Copenhagen based design studio working at the intersection of material research and industrial furniture production. The studio develops furniture and objects through a hands on process where structure, material behavior and construction define the expression. The practice includes work with natural fibre composites and biobased adhesives. With a curiosity for new and bio based materials, each project explores how emerging materials shape form, tactility and use. Rather than applying a predefined style, the studio lets material logic guide proportion and detail. The work aims to support a gradual green transition within the furniture industry through design and long term collaborations with manufacturers.
