+Halle® exists to develop a different type of furniture, designed to make a difference to people’s daily lives, helping them focus, work, and relax in new ways. Furniture shaped by human behaviour is furniture shaped by those who use it. The more minds involved, the more evolved the design.

This year during 3daysofdesign +Halle® will display a large selection of new products designed by Spacon, Boris Berlin Design, Nick Ross and Form Us With Love. Making furniture that can meet the needs of public spaces today means creating mindspace for designers, scientists and entrepreneurs with something new to say on the matter. Akua Objects was founded in 2022 by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur in Copenhagen, driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting. With a vision to design poetic tableware, Akua blends thoughtful design with master craftsmanship. Annika leads creative direction, while Josefine guides the brand as CEO. Collaborating with glassmakers in Murano and Bohemia, each piece balances artistry and utility, whispering tales of warmth and nostalgia. Akua’s designs invite emotional connection, bringing people together to share moments. Akua believes the table is where life unfolds—where memories are made and cherished. Akua creates objects meant to endure, pushing the boundaries of design and speaking across generations.

Lokal is a Helsinki–based concept gallery bringing forth local artwork and collectible design. Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.

Ancher creates handmade tableware for restaurants, coffee shops, canteens, and interior projects—made to be used every day and built to last in professional kitchens. Rooted in craftsmanship and functional design, each piece is carefully developed with durability, tactility, and scale in mind. Founded in Copenhagen, Ancher works locally with a production setup that allows for fast delivery without compromising quality. Their new studio—an old butcher shop transformed into a ceramic studio—reflects this approach: original materials, honest processes, and modern design. Tableware shaped by hands, meant for everyday use, shipped globally.

Nymphenburg is one of the last and purest manufactories of its kind. Since its founding in 1747, the high art of porcelain production has been cultivated at the manufactory of the Bavarian royal family. Manufactum still means the same today: made entirely by hand, using techniques that have been passed down and preserved from generation to generation.

Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of emerging designers united by a shared ambition to create and challenge one another. Through close collaboration, the collective tackles new design briefs with defined constraints and objectives, encouraging each member to produce original work while pushing creative boundaries. Committed to responsible design practices, Iteration Collective explores new approaches, questions conventional norms in furniture design, and promotes more eco-conscious solutions, contributing to ongoing dialogue around innovation and sustainability.

New Light Pottery is a lighting manufacturer based in the ancient former Japanese capital of Nara. Founded in 2015 by designers Hiroyuki Nagatomi and Chizu Nara, the company creates understated designs that highlight the textures and natural beauty of brass, glass, ceramic and traditional Japanese washi paper. Each lamp is handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans. Supporting Japanese craftsmanship and the artisans who keep these traditions alive has been central to New Light Pottery’s mission from the very beginning. Keeping production in Japan also allows for minor adjustments, special orders and unique finishes.
