It’s all about furniture heritage and family heritage. Founded in 2024 by Edward Gubi, a third–generation member of the GUBI family, DesignPreowned is built on a passion for preserving and renewing design history. Together with his team, Edward Gubi sources and acquires pre–owned furniture primarily from Scandinavia—often overlooked classics from the 1930s to the 1980s—which are carefully restored and upcycled to fit contemporary interiors.

Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy. Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.

HUBBUB develops 100% natural acoustic materials for architecture, replacing synthetic layers in acoustic systems. Made from jute fibres and natural latex, without added plastics, the material combines documented performance with long lifespan and architectural integrity. ESSENCE surfaces remain open and breathable, preserving acoustic performance while adding tactile depth. Natural elements are pressed into the surface, becoming part of its texture rather than applied decoration. Designed in Denmark, the material stores carbon and is developed for long-term use.

Seino Takashi Design is a design company founded in Chiba, Japan, in 2020 by Takashi Seino. Guided by the theme of universality, the studio works across interior and product design, carefully considering the relationship between people, objects and spaces while valuing materials. Its designs emerge through dialogue, embracing clients, users, materials and nature. The philosophy is inspired by the Japanese concept Sampō Yoshi—“good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society.” This principle guides the studio beyond profit, encouraging meaningful contributions to society and fostering long–term relationships built on trust.

KLASSIK has specialised in original Scandinavian furniture, lighting, ceramics and art since 1991. From its two-storey showroom in central Copenhagen, KLASSIK presents a carefully curated selection of 20th-century design, supported by a large warehouse and a full online collection. With in-house upholstery and cabinetmaking workshops, KLASSIK restores and adapts both its own pieces and clients’ furniture with expert care. The company ships worldwide and works with private homes as well as larger interior projects. Its collection combines rare vintage pieces with an in-house production of relaunched classics, rooted in craftsmanship, material knowledge and design history.
