Since its foundation in 1911, the family–owned company Fredericia has proudly built a strong tradition of beautiful craftsmanship and innovative design, developed in close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised names. Legendary designers such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today. Fredericia is a proud B Corp taking part in a global movement where people use business as a force for good—a holistic certification for social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability.

Atelier m4 is an award winning, 4th generation furniture brand based in Matsumoto City in Japan. Originating from the 120–year old Maeda Mokugei Studio, atelier m4’s designs are rooted in the style of the Edo samurai and townspeople, characterised by delicate and minimal structures and skilfully joined materials. Perpetually looking to a more sustainable future, atelier m4 have collaborated with researchers and craftsmen to develop new methods to utilise fast–growing coniferous trees and transform discarded wood into elegant, luxurious furniture. Relying solely on hand tools and traditional techniques, atelier m4 creates furniture made with local woods, embodying a deep respect for nature and place and a universal richness in each piece.

This philosophy stems from the belief that furniture lasts longer when it supports a multifunctional way of living. Founded in 2010, By KlipKlap began with the purpose of enhancing and stimulating children’s motor skills through multifunctional mattresses. Each piece is crafted using durable textiles and high-quality foam that retains its shape, even after years of extensive use. The mattresses can be folded in various ways, encouraging hours of activity and quality time for all family members. From essential tummy time for babies to toddler play, teenage lounging, and even serving as a guest bed, the designs evolve with every stage of life.

Mobelcph is driven by a passion for quality design furniture, blending Japanese craftsmanship with modern technology. Curated by Claudio Guarino, the collection features pieces by renowned Danish designer Kai Kristiansen and the organic, vibrant creations of the Milan–based Japanese–Danish design duo, Inoda+Sveje, among others. Combining fine woodworking with contemporary production techniques, the designs prioritise ergonomics, aesthetics, and lasting quality—creating furniture that is both visually and physically engaging. Some pieces are crafted by expert carpenters in Japan, while others celebrate the seamless fusion of Danish and Japanese design traditions.

At 3daysofdesign 2025, the exhibition will showcase eleven leading Norwegian brands at FRAMING, in the heart of the city.
