Since its foundation in 1911, the family–owned company Fredericia has proudly built a strong tradition of beautiful craftsmanship and innovative design, developed in close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised names. Legendary designers such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today. Fredericia is a proud B Corp taking part in a global movement where people use business as a force for good—a holistic certification for social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability.

Intersections explores these connections—where objects and furniture shape daily rituals, and materials pave the future, demonstrating how thoughtful design enhances everyday life. Welcome to the Fredericia showroom, where iconic mid–century design meets contemporary innovation. Discover a curated collection of finely crafted furniture by renowned designers, including the latest releases and relaunches by Mogens Koch, Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Hugo Passos, Nanna Ditzel, Kaare Klint, and Børge Mogensen.

Maison Rhizomes, founded in 2022, transforms contemporary painting into the medium of hand-knotted rugs, creating collectible works of art in limited editions of twenty-two. Drawing inspiration from each artist’s technique, palette, and creative vision, the studio reinterprets their visual language in textile form. Crafted in India and Nepal by skilled artisans using ethically sourced wool, silk, and linen, each rug preserves the emotional depth of the original work. The current collection features Belgian artist and co-founder Charlotte Culot and is expanding to include designs by French artist Ludovic Philippon.

By blending digital precision with traditional craftsmanship, the studio designs tactile pieces with layered textures and organic forms. Each product is heavy-duty, long-lasting, and 100% circular, while the production process embraces natural irregularities, highlighting the beauty of raw materials. Committed to innovation in both product development and commissioned projects, The New Raw redefines waste through meticulous craft and sustainable design. Founded in Rotterdam in 2016 by Panos Sakkas and Foteini Setaki.

Nychair X is a folding lounge chair designed in 1970 by Takeshi Nii, continuously made in Japan. The simple yet elegant design, combined with comfort, versatility, and repairability, made Nychair X a chair loved by generations. Thanks to its light weight and foldability, it can be easily moved between rooms and does not take much space when folded, making it a great companion for contemporary multifunctional living spaces. By collaborating with fabric designers or brands like Carhartt WIP, Nychair X reaches out to new audiences while cherishing its original principles. Maintenance can be performed at home, and different parts can be replaced, so the chair can be enjoyed for many years. Awarded with Long Life Design and Good Design awards.

Atlast éditions creates soulful, handcrafted objects that celebrate artisanal heritage and timeless craftsmanship. Founded by Sarah Rousselle, Atlast collaborates with Usukiyaki artisans in Usuki City, Japan, to produce the Gloria tableware collection—everyday objects with deep historical roots, reimagined for modern living. Each piece is shaped using the Katauchi technique, where clay sheets are carefully pressed over hand-carved plaster moulds. This method preserves the warmth of handmade tradition, allowing for delicate details and organic variations. Finished in white gloss, soft matte, or bronze glazes, Atlast offers a refined, tactile experience, making every meal a moment of understated luxury.
