Become a Design Ambassador for 3daysofdesign 2026 and help support the ideas, creators, and makers re-writing the rules of design as we know it.
As a Design Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable experiences in Copenhagen this coming summer, connecting with industry professionals, supporting exhibitors, guiding visitors, and documenting the very soul of 3daysofdesign with Leica.
All in a positive, supportive environment of design enthusiasts who embrace our values, and our deep desire to make our festival an amazing experience that will last well beyond the three days.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for people from Denmark and around the world who are truly passionate about design and crafts, people who thrive in an exciting, international environment of ideas and knowledge–sharing, who enjoy collaborating with a dynamic team to help our festival guests have an experience they’ll remember forever. Individuals who feel at ease behind the lens, with an instinct for storytelling and beautiful composition.

Our Design Ambassador Programme is a unique volunteer opportunity for you to deepen your understanding of design, expand your professional network, and develop hands–on experience with hospitality, event management and communication. Look forward to welcoming guests, guiding tours, and creating memorable experiences throughout the festival.
You’ll also be able to share your own knowledge and insights about design and craft with a dynamic global design community, while gaining new knowledge behind the scenes. We will cover your roundtrip airfare to Copenhagen, hotel accommodation and meals during your stay in Copenhagen from 5 — 13 June 2026. The aim of the Design Ambassador Programme is that you will have an inspiring experience both personally and professionally — before, during and after the festival. - Engaged and curious, eager to contribute and take initiative
- Outgoing, organised, and good communicators
- Actively interested in design, whether through studies, work, or personal pursuits
- Service–minded and a natural socialite, with a knack for bringing people together
- Ideal candidates are ambitious, can work autonomously, and collaboratively
- Comfortable in the role of a host—welcoming guests, guiding groups, and creating memorable experiences
- Confident and creative behind a camera
- Fully available during the designated festival dates
- Fluent in spoken English (no Danish required)
What can you look forward to?
Prior to arriving in Copenhagen, you will take part in our easy e–learning programme, featuring short videos, podcasts, and articles for you to explore.
Your arrival will be scheduled a few days before we kick off 3daysofdesign. We will invite you on a tour around Copenhagen to see highlights of its iconic architecture, and to familiarise yourself with where you will be based during the festival. Throughout your stay, we will arrange shared dinners and gatherings where you can exchange insights and perspectives drawing on your cultural background, personal passion and interest for design and craftsmanship.
