At 3daysofdesign 2026, Warm Nordic continues “The Mid–Modern Reunion,” now in its second chapter, in partnership with Maharam, a leading creator of textiles and part of the MillerKnoll collective. During the golden age of design, Hans Olsen, Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard and Verner Panton each shaped the world of modernist living. For the second time, their work is united through form and fabric—Olsen's Fried Egg Chair and Orange Chair dressed in Maharam textiles designed in the same era. Born at 3daysofdesign 2025, the tribute now enters its next chapter and includes a new highlight: a preview of Maharam’s next textile by Hella Jongerius.

The Mid-Modern Reunion: Chapter II. At 3daysofdesign 2026, Warm Nordic continues "The Mid-Modern Reunion", now in its second chapter, in special collaboration with Maharam, a leading creator of textiles and part of the MillerKnoll collective. During the golden age of design, Hans Olsen, Ray Eames, Alexander Girard and Verner Panton each shaped the world of modernist living. For the second time, their work is united through form and fabric - Olsen's Fried Egg Chair and Orange Chair dressed in Maharam textiles from the same era. Born at 3daysofdesign 2025, the tribute now enters its next chapter. And it brings a new highlight: Hella Jongerius' Jubilee fabric makes its international debut at Warm Nordic.

At their workshop on Portugal's Silver Coast, De La Espada combines artisanal furniture making savoir faire with rigorous, research–based contemporary design. Specialising in woodworking and upholstery, they also collaborate with Portuguese artisans across disciplines. De La Espada sits at the heart of design and craft in Portugal and represents true luxury: creativity rather than imitation; extensive research and development; traditional methods that are in scarce supply; a singular aesthetic point–of–view; and no compromise when it comes to materials or effort.

David Valner has a background in glass design, sculpture, fine arts, and interactive media. David has grown up in a glassmaker family, in the midst of a swarm of traditional artisans–glass lovers, feeling and watching the physical and metaphorical fire of creation. At the centre of his current approach to glass stands respect for the material as an originally free and fluid mass. Endlessly inspired by nature, he creates collections of objects in which each item is an original and defects are embraced as deeply meaningful and inspirational testimonies to artisan glass making as opposed to mass production.
