For 85 years, LK Hjelle has been crafting long–lasting furniture with a commitment to Norwegian craftsmanship. Unlike mass–produced alternatives, its designs are not found in every home, store, or office. As one of the few remaining Norwegian furniture manufacturers that still designs and produces its pieces in–house, the company has upheld this tradition since the 1940s and continues to do so in Sykkylven, Norway’s furniture capital. This year Grythyttan Stålmöbler celebrates 130 years of Swedish craftsmanship and Scandinavian design. The furniture is still made by hand from wood and steel in Grythyttan, making the chairs and tables extremely weather-resistant and ensure they last decade after decade. The characteristic rocking mechanism of the chairs is created by the special spring steel frame, also requires human craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, discover the new additions to the iconic A2 series, which has been an integral part of Swedish gardens since the 1930. The High Tech chair relaunched in 2007 has been given a new color spectrum for 2025. The chair was designed ny Nisse Strinning in the early 1980's.

Søuld is an innovative Danish material manufacturer committed to providing CO₂—storing and recyclable acoustic materials made from eelgrass to forward-thinking designers, builders and end–users. Søuld produces functional and beautiful alternatives to traditional building materials, while improving human health and well–being. Søuld’s eelgrass products originate from the sea—a place you are never far from in Søuld’s native Denmark. The organic material embodies the same sense of calm provided by the sea and when taken indoors, it imbues living spaces with a restorative connection to nature.
