Ensamble Artesano is Mexico’s leading hub for the artisanal sector, bringing together more than 5.000 artisans, 402 artisan groups, 80 organisations, and over 17 strategic partners to strengthen the country’s craft economy. It started as an economic activation emergency during COVID and it transformed into a platform for the sector. Ensamble uses collaboration, design innovation, and disruptive methodologies to drive cultural sustainability and professionalisation across the value chain opening pathways to larger markets while honouring Mexico’s rich heritage. Through Ensamble Artesano, brands, people and designers can access a network of thousands of artisans from 23 states of Mexico that work in a formal economy with pristine quality.
During 3daysofdesign, Ensamble Artesano will present a curated selection of pieces that highlight the richness, innovation, and cultural value of artisanal techniques found throughout Mexico. The showcase will feature outstanding pieces from across network, including the latest design collaborations and heritage editions—each one reflecting the deep–rooted knowledge, creativity, and contemporary evolution of traditional craft. The pieces embody the values that define Ensamble Artesano as a collaborative platform. Throughout the festival, Ensemble will host talks and activations for the visitors, offering insights into the creative processes and the power of craft as a driver of social and cultural transformation.
