Knabstrup Keramik, one of Denmark’s most cherished ceramic brands, boasts a rich history dating back to 1897. Over the years, Knabstrup Keramik has collaborated with numerous ceramic artists and designers, drawing inspiration from across the globe. From Hungarian artists in the post-war era to German ceramists in the 1960s, these creative minds shaped and decorated pieces that became treasured collectibles. In 2017, Knabstrup Keramik was relaunched with a vision to honour its storied past while embracing the future. The brand is dedicated to reviving the artistry and craftsmanship that defined its legacy, delving into its rich archives to bring timeless designs back to life.

A meeting of heritage, craft, and artistic courage. At this year’s 3daysofdesign, Knabstrup Keramik invites you to experience the soul of clay—both in its original form and reimagined by acclaimed ceramicist Erik Landon, also known as TORTUS. With his intuitive approach, TORTUS has created vases that balance the functional and the sculptural. In this collaboration, Knabstrup’s 100—year ceramic tradition merges with a contemporary artistic vision. Craftsmanship takes the lead, reminding us that it is the human hand—not the machine—that gives form its soul. Clay becomes a language, shaped by touch. A bold expression, now reaching a wider audience through thoughtful production—without losing its authenticity.

MANU builds object-to-human relationships. Their objects are all ‘characters’ to live alongside — not bought and sold, but adopted. Working across waste streams, the material becomes both the starting point and the guide, allowing its limitations to shape the design of each object. They craft objects from PET bottles, lemon peels, or sand — depending on what’s available around them. MANU believes this philosophy can help us rediscover the value of finite raw materials, encouraging more respect and care for the objects we live with.

Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus—on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. Their focus is on on the interiors that surround us—how they are built and how they work. “How do we interact in the public space? Has today's society added new demands? Has our way of socialising changed?” To meet today's demands and desires, Blå Station believes it is necessary to have an open and innovative mind, a child's curiosity as well as a heart that rejects shortcuts and apathy. With curiosity as fuel, they keep searching for the unexpected, yet–to–be discovered. Peace, Love & Good Design.
