Søuld produces functional and beautiful alternatives to traditional building materials, while improving human health and well-being. Søuld’s eelgrass products originate from the sea—a place you are never far from in Søuld’s native Denmark. In Terrassa, 30 km from Barcelona, Teixidors creates unique pieces of cashmere, wool and linen using 19th–century wooden looms. Jeroen De Ruddere is a Belgian designer creating sculptural lighting objects rooted in material, proportion and emotional presence. Each piece begins with an idea, a tension that needs to be felt, and is guided by a deep respect for sustainable materials, form and timeless simplicity. Drawing inspiration from nature, architecture and human sensibility, his designs balance strength and softness. Solid wood bases in oak, walnut or mahogany are combined with carefully selected textiles, resulting in objects that feel both architectural and sculptural.
