Botané is building a new category at the intersection of interior design, sustainability and modern aesthetics. Created to bring botanical design into everyday spaces, Botané offers a lasting alternative to perishability, designed to remain rather than disappear. Approached as an interior discipline, botanical design is treated with the same intention as furniture, objects and architectural elements. Each composition is shaped through proportion, texture and spatial balance, becoming part of how a space is experienced rather than something that fades from it. For 60 years, Ingo Maurer has been designing and manufacturing exceptional designer lamps that bridge the gap between everyday objects and art. The Munich–based company's internationally renowned designs can be found in the collections of some of the world's most important museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Under the creative direction of Axel Schmid, Head of Product and Project Design, the team develops iconic luminaires that combine technical precision with a playful and often ironic design approach. Ingo Maurer's products are designed to surprise and inspire. As well as creating serial luminaires, the company has also made a name for itself as a designer of public and private spaces around the world.
