EETAL is a project launched in 2021 by Japan Benex Corporation, a company specialising in precision sheet metal processing technology. Through collaborations with designers, it reconsiders the creative potential of sheet metal from multiple perspectives. Embracing an experimental approach, the project challenges conventional notions of industrial production and explores new dialogues between sheet metal and design. The name "EETAL" originates from "SHEET METAL." It combines "EET" from "SHEET" and "TAL" from "METAL," forming a coined term that symbolises a new approach to sheet metal design.

Layers of Light creates sculptural wall lamps where art and precise engineered illumination merge. Each piece is built from carefully calculated layers of light, transforming the wall into a composition of depth, shadow, and reflection. Inspired by natural light phenomena, the work evokes a sensory response — light that can be felt as much as seen. These pieces replace traditional wall art while fundamentally reshaping the atmosphere of a space.

Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today. Fredericia is a proud B Corp taking part in a global movement where people use business as a force for good—a holistic certification for social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability.
