Secto Design is a Finnish family–owned company known for its architectural, wooden design lamps. Each lamp is meticulously handmade at the company’s factory in Heinola, Finland, where locally sourced, certified birch wood meets sustainable production methods. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high–quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.
