PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a Copenhagen-based design company with a mission: to create lasting and meaningful furniture, lighting, and accessories. Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.

Studio ByHAA is an architectural design studio working at the intersection of craft, design, regenerative architecture, and landscape. Designs are handcrafted in Egypt through a dialogue between local artisans and Danish designers. The studio works from the understanding that all things and scales are connected, linking architecture with craft, the intelligence of the land, and the people who shape it. Beginning with the land—its textures, rhythms, and hands—the practice brings the outside in, creating spaces and objects that belong. Through the handmade, Studio ByHAA seeks to reconnect people with nature, the land, and a slower sense of time.

While new designers have since joined, the founding principles remain unchanged: to create beautiful, functional and well–crafted furniture that supports everyday life at home. Today, FDB Møbler is internationally recognised as a pioneer of Danish design. From iconic classics to contemporary pieces, each design reflects the same ambition—to enhance quality of life through thoughtful, enduring furniture.

Seino Takashi Design is a design company founded in Chiba, Japan, in 2020 by Takashi Seino. Guided by the theme of universality, the studio works across interior and product design, carefully considering the relationship between people, objects and spaces while valuing materials. Its designs emerge through dialogue, embracing clients, users, materials and nature. The philosophy is inspired by the Japanese concept Sampō Yoshi—“good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society.” This principle guides the studio beyond profit, encouraging meaningful contributions to society and fostering long–term relationships built on trust.

String Furniture is a Swedish design company producing a range of modern classics and contemporary furniture brands. More than 95% of its furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction of its systems, which can be assembled in countless configurations and remain as relevant today as when first introduced in 1949. The collection includes Pira G2, originally conceived by Olle Pira in 1954 and reinterpreted in 2023 by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, as well as Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish Nationalmuseum, and Relief, a modular system created by TAF Studio.

Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong anchor in both the public and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past seventy years: to create beautiful furniture for the future, building on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions and designed by forward-looking designers who share the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström together with Bertil Sjöqvist under the name ESE Möbler. The headquarters are located in Vaggeryd in Småland, Sweden, where one of the factories is based, while the second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö.
