PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a Copenhagen-based design company with a mission: to create lasting and meaningful furniture, lighting, and accessories. Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy. Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, presenting exclusive design brands and their latest novelties in an inspiring and relevant setting. The Odd Fellow Palace once again forms the backdrop for FRAMING, with all three floors of the impressive Rococo building from the mid–18th century, including its two wings, offering both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces for national and international brands alike. In addition, a solo exhibition will take place at Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv, just a short walk from the main exhibition on Bredgade. This year marks the sixth edition of FRAMING, featuring more than 40 exhibiting brands.

The design was invented by British engineer George Carwardine, and the brand began with the invention of a task lamp that moved like the human arm—a breakthrough that forever changed how people interact with light. Headquartered in Denmead, UK, Anglepoise lamps have lit the desks of designers, the walls of museums, and the homes of creative thinkers around the world. Because Anglepoise believes great design should last a lifetime and beyond.
