PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a Copenhagen-based design company with a mission: to create lasting and meaningful furniture, lighting, and accessories. Their style is unmistakably their own, blending playful, vibrant ingenuity with a genuine reverence for the classics and an insatiable curiosity for architecture and form. This amalgam somehow results in designs that feel both familiar and daringly original. The distinctiveness might stem from their collaborations with some of today’s most exciting artists and designers, or perhaps their commitment to quality, enduring materials, and responsible solutions. Every piece is anchored by a carefully curated colour palette, ensuring a cohesive feel across the collection.

Finarte is Finland's leading design house for rugs and soft accessories, creating award–winning interior items for joyful living. Founded in 1985 and now in the second generation, Finarte is a forerunner in sustainability, championing the use of recycled textiles and natural materials since its inception four decades ago. Inspired by Finnish weaving traditions, especially the räsymatto (rag rug), Finarte collaborates with Finnish designers and Indian artisans to reinterpret traditional craftsmanship, redefining Nordic design as they blend heritage with avant–garde aesthetics. During 3daysofdesign, Finarte can be found at two locations: PLAYROOM in District Kultur, and the Scandinavian Design Embassy in District Frederiksstaden.

United by a focus on material awareness, production quality, and design integrity, the Objects of Desire exhibition presents contemporary practices developed through considered processes and skilled execution. This exhibition establishes a platform which convenes a selected group of international designers and makers working beyond mass production. Designers explore form, technique, and detail through processes informed by material properties and production methods. The exhibited objects are the result of in-depth material research, technical expertise, and time–intensive development.

Studio ByHAA is an architectural design studio working in the intersection of craft, design, architecture and landscape. Our interior designs are handcrafted i Egypt through a dialogue with the local artisans and the Danish designers. We create from an understanding that all things and scales are connected. For us, design begins with the land, its textures, its rhythms, and the hands of the people who shape it. Our practice is about bringing the outside in, both literally and spiritually, by building spaces and creating objects that create a sense of belonging. We believe that the handmade has a capacity to reconnect people with the land, with nature, with a tangible time perspective from where we can feel ourselves at ease.

Astrid was launched in 2003, founded on Anna Boustedt’s genuine love for textiles. This passion continues to guide everything the company does. Her vision, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail have helped establish Astrid as a small but significant player. The company is based in Stockholm and has longstanding collaborations with the most skilled textile mills in Europe. Astrid offers fabrics for curtains, furniture and accessories, and although the company’s primary target market is architects and designers, and the team has extensive knowledge of dealing with public spaces, the textiles are perfectly suited to a wide variety of settings. Quality is a matter of course for Astrid, and visual appeal is absolutely vital.

Through cork, textiles, wood, ceramics and metal, Portuguese design expresses continuity and transformation. Momentum highlights the ability to turn heritage into contemporary objects, positioning Portugal as a design ecosystem where craftsmanship, industry and innovation evolve together.
