PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a Copenhagen-based design company with a mission: to create lasting and meaningful furniture, lighting, and accessories. Astrid was launched in 2003, founded on Anna Boustedt’s genuine love for textiles. This passion continues to guide everything the company does. Her vision, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail have helped establish Astrid as a small but significant player. The company is based in Stockholm and has longstanding collaborations with the most skilled textile mills in Europe. Astrid offers fabrics for curtains, furniture and accessories, and although the company’s primary target market is architects and designers, and the team has extensive knowledge of dealing with public spaces, the textiles are perfectly suited to a wide variety of settings. Quality is a matter of course for Astrid, and visual appeal is absolutely vital.

On the occasion of 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s Cultural District, inviting visitors to explore the graduation showcase by emerging Nordic voices. This semester’s final exhibitions feature a project from Design & Ceramics—an artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcase highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. Founded in 1891, Johan Borups' is a Danish ‘højskole’—a creative community based on growth, collab and reflection.

Designs Of The Time is a Belgian company founded in 1998 by the Puylaert family. In their interior textiles, they embrace a sense of imperfection that complements their love for natural materials and casual, untreated looks. The work of this family revolves around a deep love for craftsmanship, authenticity and thoughtful creative designs. This, along with their gentle character, results in interior textile collections of discrete luxury that breathe a troop of warm feelings into every home.

COR Sitzmöbel stands for interior design culture, aesthetic appeal and excellent seating comfort. The premium brand has been owner–managed since it was established in 1954. COR Sitzmöbel manufactures excellent quality seating and upholstered furniture for international markets at its production facility in Rheda–Wiedenbrück, Germany. The famous classic sofa Conseta is part of the product range since 1964. All upholstered furniture products have the Blue Angel eco–label seal of approval and the Greenguard Gold certificate. The production site has been climate–neutral through offsetting since 2020.

Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987, and has since been developing efficacious and aromatic formulations for the skin, hair, body and home, guided by a sincere interest in intelligent design—their pared–back containers are created with the utmost care to ensure functionality and pleasure, and each store interior is created with careful consideration to the fabric of its neighbourhood. Avant–garde and sensitive store design has been and will continue to be an integral part of what Aesop is—true to the brand’s conviction that few things are more conducive to a life well-lived than well–considered design.

Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.
