PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a Copenhagen-based design company with a mission: to create lasting and meaningful furniture, lighting, and accessories. For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl collaborates with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. Balancing artistic vision with functional form, the presentation reflects Finn Juhl’s continued relevance across generations.

Akuart is a Danish acoustic design brand developing sound absorbing systems for professional environments. Based on the understanding that sound shapes how space is experienced, Akuart creates modular acoustic solutions that integrate into the spatial framework, combining documented Class A performance with visual precision. Designed for offices, learning environments, care facilities and hospitality, the systems become part of the built structure. Precision–engineered aluminium frames ensure stability and scalability, while high recycled content and design for disassembly support reduced environmental impact and long service life.

Anno Studio was founded in 2021 with the vision of relaunching older design classics in a sustainable and updated design. The idea came from a desire to relaunch the iconic furniture Series 600 by Friis & Moltke Architects, which was initially known for schools, conference rooms, and canteens. The close combination of beautiful design and sustainability is the foundation of Anno Studio. Every part of the production focuses on sustainability. They recycle and upcycle materials without compromising on quality. All materials have been carefully considered with a focus on the circular economy. Anno Studio only uses FSC–certified wood; they use residual wood when possible.

ELVO was founded in 1923 by Valdemar Martin Ørstrup, who named the company after four of his children: Ellen, Leo, Villy, and Orla. The company remained family-owned until 2019 and has, throughout the years, supplied boxes to many historic and creative workplaces across Denmark. With a new group of owners, ELVO has moved after 70 years on Uplandsgade to an industrial courtyard on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, where all of our products are handmade. At the factory, Elvo welcomes visitors into a space that radiates history and a passion for the traditional craft of box-making. Elvo aims to challenge the throwaway culture and create classic products that age gracefully.

Founded in 2008 by Jacob Nannestad Hansen and Søren Ravn Christensen, UMAGE is a B Corp–certified brand that blends Danish design with quality, sustainability, and affordability. Their furniture and lighting combine aesthetics, functionality, and environmental care, with flat–packed collections reducing emissions. Adaptable and versatile, UMAGE products fit homes and public spaces, with replaceable parts, recyclable components, and customisable options that ensure timeless, evolving designs for modern living, made to enrich everyday life.

HAUSMANN Furniture is a design studio dedicated to solid wood furniture and interior objects, operating between Barcelona and Copenhagen. Founded by designer and cabinetmaker Mike Hausmann, the studio explores the relationship between design, material, and construction. Rooted in traditional joinery, its work balances Mediterranean clarity with Northern European sensibility. Positioned between craftsmanship and contemporary making, the studio translates time-honored techniques into a quiet, wabi-sabi approach, creating furniture that integrates naturally into a space. The studio incorporates independent designer practices as well as custom projects with collaborative partners.
