Mette Ditmer Denmark has been a voice within Scandinavian design since 1995, creating timeless collections grounded in form, colour and texture. Led by intuition and inspiration drawn from daily life, every design is created with intention and a deep respect for the inherent qualities of every material and a commitment to responsible production. Thoughtful design choices and artistic expression come together in interior pieces that inhabit homes around the world, enriching everyday life season after season and made to last for years to come.

During 3daysofdesign, Mette Ditmer Denmark opens the doors to its showroom in the heart of Copenhagen. The space will be transformed into inspiring settings of timeless design, calm, and creativity, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of conscious living. Visitors are invited to explore a curated selection of seasonal news through tactile textures and thought-through details. The programme also offers the opportunity to meet interior designer and founder Mette Ditmer and gain insight into the ideas, inspirations, and considerations behind the brand. In addition, guests can take part in creative workshops, where they are invited to craft something personal and unique to bring home as a lasting memory of their visit.

Conceived as part gallery, part archive, and part marketplace, aarticles is a place to encounter crafted design through process, presence and material intelligence. It began from the belief that objects gain depth through company. New commissions and found objects enter the same catalogue, with each collection joining what came before and leaving room for what follows. The platform was formed as a way of looking closely, placing contemporary and found objects within a longer craft lineage and recognising their measured persistence across generations.

CONCRETE VESSELS AND RELIEFS BY SUSANNE STORM MERGE ARTISTIC EXPRESSION, MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE, AND FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Susanne Storm destabilises this assumption. By sculpting in concrete, she has only a brief period in which to shape the work. The intensity of this creation process extends to her sculptural vessels and reliefs. The resulting forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that generated them. Cracks, layers, and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. The choice of colour feels effortless, allowing the works to appear beautiful both together and individually, perhaps especially in contrast to modern, strict design. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Modern Metier is a French design platform with a curated selection of contemporary brands and progressive designers. Working with talents from Paris to Stockholm, the platform represents a select roster of European designers, each distinguished by a singular perspective and original point of view. The name “métier,” drawn from the French word for craft, reflects the studio’s commitment to quality and enduring craftsmanship. In 2024, Modern Metier introduced its first collection of furniture and lighting named 'Solstice' in collaboration with French designer Léa Zeroil. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the designer and local artisans specialising in woodwork, ceramics, upholstery and metalwork.
