AHARE is a product brand that brings subtle richness to everyday life through scent. They see scent not merely as an element of space but as a medium that deepens experience. With a commitment to sustainability, they reinterpret Japanese craftsmanship while fostering a connection between people and nature. In parallel, Ahare Space Project explores scent as architecture itself, designing immersive experiences that shift perception. By reading the essence of a place, they create scents within an architectural context, investigating how scent can transform environments and identities. Through the intersection of product and project, AHARE creates a signature of scent within space.
This exhibition presents a rare opportunity to experience the work of AHARE — a scent-focused design project based in Japan. Seen only occasionally in Europe, AHARE’s products offer a sensory encounter that blends minimal form with invisible atmosphere. Historical research suggests that, in ancient times, sculptures were once infused with fragrance. In this context, AHARE’s presence in a space filled with sculptural expressions feels almost inevitable.
