Nada Duele is a sustainable design studio based in Guatemala, dedicated to the creation of design objects and accessories that blend traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Founded in 2019, the studio collaborates with master artisans across Guatemala to craft unique, responsible, and timeless pieces, ensuring the preservation of traditional crafts while supporting job creation. Each creation tells a story of heritage and sustainability. Through recycled blown glassware, lambswool pieces, stone artefacts, and iron accents, Nada Duele celebrates Guatemala’s beauty and traditions while promoting an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The studio is led by multidisciplinary artists Giselle MacDonald and Mariano Orellana.

Nada Duele presents MANOS y MATERIA – From Hands to Heritage, an exploration of the intimate dialogue between artisan, material and sustainable design. Featuring a collection of never–before–seen collectible pieces handcrafted in stone, glass, wool, clay, iron, and wood, the exhibition reflects Nada Duele’s approach to material—rooted in contemporary design, time–honoured techniques, and a deep commitment to sustainability. MANOS y MATERIA speaks to the power of craft, the integrity of materials, and the role of sustainable design in preserving and evolving Guatemala’s rich cultural heritage. It is an invitation to see beyond the object—to feel the history in its fibres, the landscape in its textures, and the hands that brought it to life.
