For more than 135 years, Auping has been designing the very best ways of resting. Every single bed is made with care and attention to details, the environment, and the future. The combination of high-quality materials like steel, wood and superior upholstery fabrics have become a recognisable Auping signature over the years. Additionally, the interplay of sleek horizontal lines and soft rounded corners are characteristic for Auping designs.

Auping will be showcasing the new bed Noble that perfectly combines aesthetics and comfort and exudes a modest form of luxury. Elegant and understated with soft, rounded corners and wide headboard with integrated bedside tables and large lounge cushions that provide perfect support. The bed is designed by Dutch Johan van Hengel, and made of solid oak – a sustainable, durable, and natural material from replanted forests in Europe. The wood for Auping bed frames is always certified with either FSC, PEFC or STIP.

Teixidors: when weaving is also caring. In Terrassa, 30 km from Barcelona, Teixidors weaves unique pieces of cashmere and merino wool on 19th century wooden looms. Founded in 1983, it combines excellent craftsmanship with a deep social work, in collaboration with LaFact (Factoria Social de Terrassa). HYFER OBJECTS is a Scandinavian interior design studio with a goal to redefine the world of design and attract conscious design lovers, representing galleries, life-style hotels, private homes and offices. Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression, Hyfer Objects use various upcycled waste materials combined with innovative production methods such as 3D printing. Their furniture is both durable and luxurious, carefully designed to stay in a circular loop so as to minimise further waste. All products are made to order and manufactured in Sweden. Holder, blends the lines between an editorial platform, a design store and a gallery showcasing a selection of curated furniture and art–led objects for everyday use dedicated to contemporary and collectible design from Latin American designers. They present pieces that exude a strong sense of place, reflecting the geography, society, and unique cultural identity of Latin America. Some of the concepts you'll find in their selection are local and slow production, local materials and techniques, and the use of local labor and industry. Holder's mission is to promote Latin American culture by shortening the geographical gap between Latin America and EU becoming a bridge where creativity and collaboration come together.

Oxdenmarq was founded in 2003. The goal was to produce reasonably priced furniture from exclusive materials like vegetable tanned saddle leather. Making affordable furniture is a core value OX still pursue in everything they do. Before finishing the design studies at the Copenhagen Design University, Dennis Marquart completed a Blacksmith education. Craftsmanship is a key for OX in everything they do. Many OX products are shaped around marble or vegetable tanned saddle leather. Stone and leather are materials that will and should get marks over time but they will also age with a very special beauty. When you learn to appreciate the beauty of maturity and of time passing, you have learned to appreciate patina the way it should be: appreciated.

BassamFellows is a Furniture & Design House renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and distinctive creativity and character. It has taken shape over two decades and three continents, building a design language accented by purity, refinement and visual pleasure. The House has a story: it is about beauty with purpose, and operates on several levels. There is hand-worked furniture incorporating sculpted wooden elements and meticulous leather work. There is architecture and interior design, creative direction and frequent collaboration with like-minded artisans. The House offers different spaces and perspectives, but it is always defined by luxury.

During 3daysofdesign, Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Exhibition will be held in the craftsmens' house, Moltke's Mansion, an impressive Baroque building in city center, owned by the Association of Craftsmen in Copenhagen. The exhibition is displaying unique master pieces by master craftsmen, as well as works from final exams, apprentice pieces and works by more established cabinetmakers. Since 1554, Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild has been a gathering place for both furniture makers and building carpenters. Common for all Guild's members is the interest in noble craftsmanship, and not least the necessity of supporting the professional educational training.
