The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark works across the fields of contemporary art, drama and design and promote international dialogue by providing a platform for emerging talents, helping to connect their art and crafts with the right audiences in Denmark.

For over 100 years, GRYTHYTTAN has combined Swedish craftsmanship with Scandinavian design. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, Timorous Beasties is a design studio based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons, graduates of The Glasgow School of Art, in 1990. Offering a portfolio of over 500 original designs, the brand focuses on hand and digitally printed fabric and wallpaper, designed in–house. Known for their surreal and provocative wall–coverings and textiles and as an icon of Scottish design, Timorous Beasties’ work embodies a unique diversity of pattern and displays chic irreverence. Timorous Beasties designs are available internationally, with showrooms in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London. The brand has collaborated widely with prominent brands including Johnnie Walker, S.C.P and Ercol.

The Icelandic Warehouse is an exhibition of two Icelandic prominent furniture and interior design brands. In the Icelandic Warehouse FÓLK launches its remaking of Icelandic classic furniture and new sustainably and circularly focused design items by its collaborative designers. EPAL presents BAÐ, a homage to the unique Icelandic bathing culture. A timeless and carefully authentic collection made by four outstanding Icelandic designers with focus on sustainability and quality. The Icelandic Warehouse showcases the diversity in Icelandic design, hosted by the Icelandic Embassy, facilitated by Iceland Design and Architecture, producer of the DesignMarch festival and with the support of Business Iceland.

Mikkel Nielsen is a design studio working at the intersection of art, design, and architecture. Maison Rhizomes, founded in 2022, transforms contemporary painting into the medium of hand-knotted rugs, creating collectible works of art in limited editions of twenty-two. Drawing inspiration from each artist’s technique, palette, and creative vision, the studio reinterprets their visual language in textile form. Crafted in India and Nepal by skilled artisans using ethically sourced wool, silk, and linen, each rug preserves the emotional depth of the original work. The current collection features Belgian artist and co-founder Charlotte Culot and is expanding to include designs by French artist Ludovic Philippon.
