EMFIMA Collection is a Nordic agency established in September 2016 and today represent the well-known Italian manufacturers Luceplan Srl., Pedrali S.p.A., Contardi Lighting Srl, BROKIS and Fantoni S.p.A. All manufacturers are available on the Nordic markets, and are represented in Denmark through the EMFIMA Collection. In addition, EMFIMA Collection has entered into a distributor agreement with the Swedish company BOOM Interiør, on the Danish market. The EMFIMA Collection exclusively offers products with a high design profile and complete unique functions. EMFIMA is interested in good quality, the best design and distributing the carefully selected brands through a professional and quality-consciously selected network throughout DK.

EMFIMA Collection during 3daysofdesign presents a curated programme for visitors in the unique and historic setting at Holmen. The exhibition showcases the latest in lighting and space planning from leading Italian manufacturers, highlighting new trends in colours and material choices. Visitors can explore a wide selection of designs and gain inspiration for future interior projects, discovering contemporary approaches to atmosphere, functionality, and refined Italian design.

String Furniture is a Swedish design company that produces a number of modern classics and furniture brands. More than 95% of the furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction that can be put together in an infinite number of configurations and is just as modern as when it debuted in 1949. Pira, originally by Olle Pira in 1954, is a contemporary interpretation by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström in 2023. Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish National Museum and Relief, a modular system, by TAF Studio. The latest contribution is Center Center, designed by Form Us With Love.

Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

Anno Studio was founded in 2021 with the vision of relaunching older design classics in a sustainable and updated design. The idea came from a desire to relaunch the iconic furniture Series 600 by Friis & Moltke Architects, which was initially known for schools, conference rooms, and canteens. The close combination of beautiful design and sustainability is the foundation of Anno Studio. Every part of the production focuses on sustainability. They recycle and upcycle materials without compromising on quality. All materials have been carefully considered with a focus on the circular economy. Anno Studio only uses FSC–certified wood; they use residual wood when possible.

Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Inspired by Bornholm’s nature and light, its tactile materials resonate with works by local and international artists. During 3daysofdesign, you can visit Galleri Sonja in Kvindernes Bygning.

prado believes a home should become a place where functionality disappears and only the experience of the space remains. prado provides advanced solutions for home technology such as light and ventilation, quietly disappearing into architecture to bring calm to the spaces we live in. Founded in 2020, prado removes the visual noise from living spaces, leaving only what matters. The laboratory brings together prado's four maisons, united by the belief that the future of homes is not defined by more technology, but by better integration. Vervloet has been mastering the craft of architectural hardware since 1905. Atelier Luxus brings the same standard to switches and sockets, while rond extends the prado philosophy to the wall itself.

Davidpompa is a Mexican lighting studio focused on materiality, research and craftsmanship, creating collections that explore the beauty of raw materials. Founded by designer David Pompa, the studio collaborates with artisans across Mexico, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design language. The work is rooted in respect for material and process, where each piece reflects heritage and refined design. Materials such as clay, stone and metal are central to the collections, shaped through skilled craftsmanship and ongoing material exploration.
