EMFIMA Collection is a Nordic agency established in September 2016 and today represent the well-known Italian manufacturers Luceplan Srl., Pedrali S.p.A., Contardi Lighting Srl, BROKIS and Fantoni S.p.A. All manufacturers are available on the Nordic markets, and are represented in Denmark through the EMFIMA Collection. In addition, EMFIMA Collection has entered into a distributor agreement with the Swedish company BOOM Interiør, on the Danish market. The EMFIMA Collection exclusively offers products with a high design profile and complete unique functions. EMFIMA is interested in good quality, the best design and distributing the carefully selected brands through a professional and quality-consciously selected network throughout DK.

EMFIMA Collection during 3daysofdesign presents a curated programme for visitors in the unique and historic setting at Holmen. The exhibition showcases the latest in lighting and space planning from leading Italian manufacturers, highlighting new trends in colours and material choices. Visitors can explore a wide selection of designs and gain inspiration for future interior projects, discovering contemporary approaches to atmosphere, functionality, and refined Italian design.

Lapuan Kankurit is a linen and wool weaving mill based in Lapua, Finland. Their roots go all the way back to 1917, and today the company is led by the fourth generation. Together with top designers and professionals in the weaving industry, they weave sauna and spa textiles as well as wool blankets and other interior textiles from natural raw materials. They carry the responsibility of passing on the craftsmanship of weaving to the future generations. Lapuan Kankurit weaves responsibly, respecting the environment while continuously developing new innovations and techniques. They weave Nordic design, inspired by pure nature. To balance out the chilling climate of the north, they weave heaps of warmth and softness into their textiles.

Founded by Bruno Fattorini in 1992, MDF Italia has always stood at the forefront of creativity, innovation and design. Since 2007, the company has been led by the Cassina family holding—strengthening a vision rooted in simplicity, lightness of form and design challenge, refining a minimalist approach with a more sophisticated, warm character. MDF Italia’s collections are conceived to last beyond trends, adapting naturally to different contexts, from residential spaces to work and hospitality settings. In 2019, MDF Italia acquired Acerbis, an Italian company with over 150 years of history, marking the meeting of two realities united by shared values of design and innovation.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.
