EMFIMA Collection is a Nordic agency company started in September 2016 and today represent the known Italian manufacturers Luceplan, Pedrali, Contardi Lighting and Fantoni. All manufacturers are already on the Nordic markets, but now also represented in Denmark through the EMFIMA Collection. In addition, EMFIMA Collection has entered into a distributor agreement with the Swedish company BOOM Interiør, on the Danish market. The EMFIMA Collection exclusively offers products with a high design profile and complete unique functions. The focus is on high–quality products and exceptional design, with carefully selected brands distributed through a professional and quality–conscious dealer network throughout Denmark.

During this year's 3daysofdesign, a carefully curated programme awaits visitors. Set within the unique and historic surroundings of Holmen, the latest innovations in lighting and space planning from leading Italian manufacturers will be on display. Explore new trends in colours and materials, offering inspiration for future interior design projects. A diverse selection will be showcased, inviting discovery and creativity.

August Sandgren makes mess pretty by handcrafting timeless, functional and aesthetic storage objects. With respect for its 100-year-old box-making heritage, they offer storage solutions for every storage need in today’s cluttered world – at home and in the office. In addition to general storage boxes, they offer a selection of exquisite jewellery boxes, watch boxes and storage on-the-go solutions. Their beautiful objects are either made from upcycled materials sourced from exclusive partners in the European furniture and fashion industry or from oeko-tex-certified leather. Every object from August Sandgren is handcrafted in Europe and made to last a lifetime or more – evident in both design, craftsmanship and choice of materials.

In differential geometry, the Grassmann product—represented by a wedge—constructs higher–dimensional objects through the addition of existing dimensions. WEDGE channels this mathematical operation as both metaphor and method. The studio explores the space between abstraction and matter, using technologies like binder jet 3D printing, LIDAR scanning, and computational modelling to redefine how materials behave and how forms emerge. Through recursive design systems and material experimentation, Wedge builds contemporary furniture and spatial objects that encode process, perception, and precision.

Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of 12 young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design and to pave the way for more eco–conscious solution. With hope to inspire future design generations and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design innovation and sustainability.

Nychair X is a folding lounge chair designed in 1970 by Takeshi Nii, continuously made in Japan.
The simple yet elegant design, combined with comfort, versatility, and repairability, made Nychair X a chair loved by generations. Thanks to its light weight and foldability, it can be easily moved between rooms and does not take much space when folded, making it a great companion for contemporary multifunctional living spaces.
By collaborating with fabric designers or brands like Carhartt WIP, Nychair X reaches out to new audiences while cherishing its original principles.
Maintenance can be performed at home, and different parts can be replaced, so the chair can be enjoyed for many years. Awarded with Long Life Design and Good Design awards.

Exploring materiality and tactility, she balances sculptural experimentation with functional design. Her portfolio spans from conceptual, unique objects to commercially viable furniture. Exhibited internationally, her work has earned awards for its exploratory approach to contemporary design. Through research-driven processes, she reinterprets everyday objects, pushing the boundaries of traditional form and function.
