Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Inspired by Bornholm’s nature and light, its tactile materials resonate with works by local and international artists. During 3daysofdesign, you can visit Galleri Sonja in Kvindernes Bygning.

Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt creates exclusive bespoke lighting pieces. Working with plexiglass and brass, she develops lamps shaped by a close dialogue between colour, transparency, and form. Layered hues and shifting light create depth and visual presence, while patinated brass adds a warmer, tactile tone. Each lamp is a sculptural object that brings a composed architectural presence to a space. She also creates larger installations by grouping multiple lamps. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt collaborates with Nilufar Gallery in Milan and designs for Gubi.

Thoughtfully designed to bring small moments of joy into everyday life, bright and joyful colours are combined with durable materials and responsible production. The focus is on creating products of the highest quality—made to be used, loved, and enjoyed again and again. Every design aims to add comfort and joy to daily routines: a warm rug welcoming tired feet in the morning, the softest towel waiting after a shower, or a cozy set of terry clothes made for all–day comfort. A striped tote bag carries everyday essentials on the go—and much more.

A marriage of technology and design, the system allows electrical and data devices to be seamlessly integrated into a variety of finish materials, minimising visual noise while elevating everyday necessities into considered architectural elements.
