PAP DECO is a family–run Polish manufactory that has become a pioneer in creating hand–carved furniture handles and wall decorations using traditional casting techniques. With more than 30 years of experience in metallurgy, the brand has been evolving across generations, with its founders—brothers Piotr and Marcin Papliński—working alongside their father, Jerzy, who instilled in them a passion for working with noble brass. The pieces crafted directly by the artisans are artistic objects with ergonomic functions, each one a timeless example of functional art. PAP DECO creates not only unique brass handles and decorations with sculptural forms, but also other fully personalised ornamental elements.

Where attachment begins. Moifani is a furniture brand launched in 2021 by SHIKI, an Okawa–based manufacturer in Japan. Design by SATEREO, the Portugal–based studio of Japanese designer Keita Sato. Its distinctive forms emerge as flowing curves that draw out the tactile warmth of solid wood and invite a lasting relationship between people and furniture. In Moifani’s work, form is never arbitrary; it grows from the quiet dialogue between people, material, and everyday life. The Pombo collection, a series of dining chairs and tables, marks the brand’s latest release.

To celebrate 90 years of the Aalto vase, Iittala presents the Aalto 90 Pavilion at Ofelia Plads. Shaped after Alvar Aalto’s celebrated design, the pavilion invites visitors to step inside the form itself and experience an immersive soundscape created especially for the occasion. Ancher creates handmade tableware for restaurants, coffee shops, canteens, and interior projects—made to be used every day and built to last in professional kitchens. Rooted in craftsmanship and functional design, each piece is carefully developed with durability, tactility, and scale in mind. Founded in Copenhagen, Ancher works locally with a production setup that allows for fast delivery without compromising quality. Their new studio—an old butcher shop transformed into a ceramic studio—reflects this approach: original materials, honest processes, and modern design. Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.
