BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE is a Japanese furniture brand based in Hokkaido, Japan, creating furniture from valuable wood that has lost its place in the market due to irregular grain, color variations, or other characteristics often overlooked by conventional standards. Through traditional Japanese joinery, architectural thinking, and careful craftsmanship, these materials are given a new purpose and a longer future. Vlad Oganov Objects is a contemporary lighting studio based in Warsaw, creating sculptural lamps through digital fabrication and small–series production. The brand explores 3D printing as a design and making tool to achieve a timeless aesthetic, tactile surfaces, and softly diffused light. Influenced by Bauhaus clarity and Italian design of the 1970s, each lamp is conceived as a complete object—visually engaging both when illuminated and when at rest. Designed as integral elements of an interior, the objects shape atmosphere through warmth, proportion, and calm presence, combining modern technology with a craft–driven approach to lighting.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl collaborates with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. Balancing artistic vision with functional form, the presentation reflects Finn Juhl’s continued relevance across generations.

Seino Takashi Design is a design company founded in Chiba, Japan, in 2020 by Takashi Seino. Guided by the theme of universality, the studio works across interior and product design, carefully considering the relationship between people, objects and spaces while valuing materials. Its designs emerge through dialogue, embracing clients, users, materials and nature. The philosophy is inspired by the Japanese concept Sampō Yoshi—“good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society.” This principle guides the studio beyond profit, encouraging meaningful contributions to society and fostering long–term relationships built on trust.

Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy.
