Based in Galicia, it transforms agricultural waste into high–performance, sustainable solutions through applied research and industrial processes. Its flagship product, Rice Tab, is a technical board made from rice husks, offering durability, versatility and key properties such as fire resistance, water repellency, anti–fungal performance and being formaldehyde–free. Cyprus Handicraft was established in 1975 to record and preserve various traditional sectors and techniques of Cypriot handicrafts with a view to promoting the economic development of each sector. Since then, its role has expanded to include design innovation programs that promote research, participation in international trade fairs, and the production of exhibitions highlighting the work of Cyprus master craftsmen, artists and designers. They believe in the dynamic nature of the Cypriot cultural identity and encourage a blend of traditional and contemporary craftsmanship in order for artists' work to be internationally appealing.
