ykoon is a design label by Steven Gosseye built on conscious choice, valued not only for its design, but for the story, craftsmanship and integrity behind each piece. Each object seeks simplicity in form while remaining engaging through detail and proportion. Grounded in a strong technical foundation, every design is carefully refined down to its construction and finishing. The story of each object begins with an idea and evolves through sketches and prototypes into a well–considered result. Working exclusively with solid hardwoods, ykoon employs traditional joinery techniques, reflecting a deep respect for craftsmanship. Founded in 2024 by Edward Gubi, a third–generation member of the GUBI family, DesignPreowned is built on a passion for preserving and renewing design history. Established in 1980, Linie Design is a Danish design house with traditions deeply rooted in Scandinavian design. Today, Linie Design is one of the largest developers of handmade rugs in Europe, sold in over 70 countries, including in their own brand store in Copenhagen. All rugs are handmade in India by skilled weavers and crafted from carefully selected materials, chosen for their durability and unique properties. With great respect for craftsmanship, Linie Design continuously challenges traditional weaving and knotting techniques, pushing creative boundaries in the development of new designs by experimenting with materials, shapes, and textures.
