Exakt MFG is a brand combining artisanry and state of the art industrial technology. The design principle is based on a pursuit of beauty and the tools are reduction, practicality and longevity. Every piece is designed and manufactured in-house in southern Sweden, drawing on decades of making high-end bespoke furniture and kitchens. CONCRETE VESSELS AND RELIEFS BY SUSANNE STORM MERGE ARTISTIC EXPRESSION, MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE, AND FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Susanne Storm destabilises this assumption. By sculpting in concrete, she has only a brief period in which to shape the work. The intensity of this creation process extends to her sculptural vessels and reliefs. The resulting forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that generated them. Cracks, layers, and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. The choice of colour feels effortless, allowing the works to appear beautiful both together and individually, perhaps especially in contrast to modern, strict design. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
