Akua Objects was founded in 2022 by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur in Copenhagen, driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting. With a vision to design poetic tableware, Akua blends thoughtful design with master craftsmanship. Annika leads creative direction, while Josefine guides the brand as CEO. For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl has teamed up with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. Balancing artistic vision with functional form, the presentation reflects Finn Juhl’s continued relevance across generations.
