Scandinavian Design Embassy is an initiative aimed at promoting Nordic design companies internationally at Nordic Embassies around the world. It brings together key organisations including the Finnish Design Embassy, Norwegian Design Industry, the Swedish Institute and Svensk Form. Through this partnership, they strengthen the innovative and sustainable design principles that define the Nordic countries. Building on the success of the Finnish Design Embassy initiative, which has been active since 2022, this project has extended the concept to neighbouring countries for an even stronger presence around the world.

Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

BY EVE, founded by designer Sandra Peters, explores light through the purity of mouth-blown glass and timeless form. Each lamp is individually crafted, giving every piece a unique presence. Defined by organic shapes and refined simplicity, the collection combines glass with materials such as wood and metal to create balanced, atmospheric lighting. Free from unnecessary detail, the designs allow light, material and form to take center stage. Bundle Studio is a Copenhagen based design studio working at the intersection of material research and industrial furniture production. The studio develops furniture and objects through a hands on process where structure, material behavior and construction define the expression. The practice includes work with natural fibre composites and biobased adhesives. With a curiosity for new and bio based materials, each project explores how emerging materials shape form, tactility and use. Rather than applying a predefined style, the studio lets material logic guide proportion and detail. The work aims to support a gradual green transition within the furniture industry through design and long term collaborations with manufacturers.
