With experience and passion in working with solid wood, ZEITRAUM stands for a modern, reduced design language and sustainable approach. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high–quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.

The studio’s entirely human, hands-on process results in organic, wabi-sabi-inspired creations that cannot be replicated by mass production. The collections include limited edition art works, products featured in commercial projects, and are available at the showroom, select boutiques worldwide, and the studio’s online shop.

To celebrate 90 years of the Aalto vase, Iittala presents the Aalto 90 Pavilion at Ofelia Plads.
